bear: the ultimate note taking app
Bear is THE best note taking app Iāve ever used. Iāve used One Note, Evernote, Google Documents, Word and anything and everything else in between but as someone who gets distracted easily, none of them come close to being as good as Bear. Itās just so easy to use.
Personally, I find it difficult to not get distracted by formatting when I take notes on my computer. Things like choosing the prettiest font, the size of heading 1, 2 and 3, formatting diagram/pictures to make it fit well, creating different notebooks/pages, colour coding my notes, highlighting the important bits... the list is endless. But with Bear, everything is so straight forward.Ā

It looks so neat??? And organised???
And what I really love about Bear is that you donāt need to do all the time consuming clicking to get bullet points, or change the font size or anything else... all you have to do is remember simple shortcuts... for example
to get heading 1, you would hold down: option + command + 1
for heading 2 - option + command + 2
for bold - command + B; alternatively you could *do this* and it would bold everything in between the asterisks
for dot points - a simple asterisks and a space
control + 3 if you only want to get rid of the tags bar and the search section from your view
Bear is hands down my favourite note taking app.
I donāt get distracted, my notes look amazing and are organised
