I don’t have a perfect study routine.
I don’t wake up early every day. I don’t always stay focused. I don’t always understand the material the first (or second) time.
Sometimes I spend hours “studying” and realise I've retained almost nothing.
Sometimes I avoid starting because I'm afraid of confirming that I don’t know enough.
But sometimes...I sit down, and it clicks.
Not everything. not perfectly.
But enough.
And I think that’s what people don’t talk about enough. Studying isn’t about constant productivity or aesthetic perfection.
It’s inconsistent. messy. slow.

Fashion Diploma Update:
Finally took the module 3 assessment two days ago and I got the results today…100%!!!! Urmmm was aiming for above 90% but was not expecting that so really happy about that even though my face doesn’t look it 🤠
Module 4 is all about drawing. I read / listened to the course content twice and made notes but noticed I was really struggling to do the practical part. I’m finding that just casually watching videos around a topic and seeing it as fun and for entertainment rather than work or exam-coded is helping.
Speaking of help, while I was struggling to get my butt into gear I downloaded an app called StudyStream. I was really missing that sense of being a student and studying with or around others for motivation and the app literally lets you do that, just virtually, with people also studying from around the world. I’ve only used it once so far and it was on my iPad so I found it a little confusing but I got everything I desperately needed to do done in 30 minutes which is crazy. So yeah, it’ll probably be more of a last resort method of productivity for now but that could change!
