everyone is asking me if i am okay. i don't know how to answer them. first of all i should explain why they are asking me that. i used to play satine on moulin rouge broadway. i would come in and out all the time for a few weeks and i always had the opition to, but you see moulin rouge is closing next month, so if do return to moulin rouge like mr aaron tveit it will be the last time. to me it's the end of an era and i don't know how to compress it yet. now that you know whats going on inside me i will introduce myself. i am ashley loren anderson, but i go by ashley loren. i have been in a few broaway shows and also been carly rae jepsens background singer. i love dogs and cats, okay i love all animals really. oh and love gummy bears and wine. if you want to know more about me just ask i am an open book.

i was heartbroken to hear about moulin rouge closing... it's one of those shows you feel like deserves to go on for forever. i've had the pleasure of seeing it a few times, twice with you as satine; once with aaron and once with derek, and you were all incredible. it's such an amazing show, it's so funny but also so powerful and raw. it's beautiful. i understand the feeling of a show closing, so please know i'm so sorry you're having to say goodbye. for now, anyway, right? you never know. i'm excited to see what's coming up next for you in the meantime. are there any dream roles or shows you're hoping for? we can start lobbying for it now.
This year has been such a rollercoaster for me. I have had two injuries but I have over come both. I have had some crazy catches and homeruns. Like I love baseball season and being on that field but I can't wait to have some time off so I can explore and go out into the world and just be a normal human. Is that weird of me to say that @limelightblvdstarters
right on, mate. sounds like you've had quite the season, and i'm glad you were able to recover from those injuries, those things are no joke. no, that's not weird at all; i completely understand what you mean. sometimes it's nice to just be for awhile. so, when you return to this normal human life, what're you thinking of doing?
iβm touring with sombr at the end of the year, and i genuinely cannot put into words how excited i am, mostly because i am completely and utterly obsessed with that man β like, how could you not be? his βhomewreckerβ music video was essentially a full cinematic cowboy deep dive into forbidden love, and i was not okay about it, and then he comes back with βmy body isn't readyβ featuring a newspaper-clippings mannequin and i β honestly i canβt even explain it, you just have to watch it and let it change you a little. his brain is something else entirely. so, who else is out here hitting the touring grind later this year? and even if youβre not, indulge me β whose that one artist, living or dead, active or retired, that you would absolutely lose your mind to open for? no wrong answers, very wrong answers welcome too.
congratulations, that's awesome! i can't wait to see videos from the tour popping up somewhere... only if recording is allowed, of course. i think for me, a dream opening slot would have been for the tragically hip or for johnny cash back in the day. their music has been such a huge inspiration to me over the years. how long is the tour for? i'm not touring myself, but i'll be heading out to shanghai for a few weeks of shows later this year, so i'm really looking forward to that.
