so not only do i get to see my boy live, but my ears also get to be blessed by your jaw-dropping vocals? love that for me. and as the chick in the “my body isn't ready” music video, witnessing his unflinching dedication and insane talent in person was so, so special. he's effortlessly cool and the soft gothic sweetheart energy he radiates is to die for. oh my god, the paper mache mannequin was literally the coolest thing ever and i took so many selfies with it after the crew yelled cut that my camera roll might look like a “sombre mannequin shrine.” amazing question.. to somebody who has musical talent and doesn't literally sound like a screaming cat when they sing. however if my shower concert performances somehow became opening act ‘good’ for an artist, it would either have to be paramore or nickelback; the supreme openers of my dreams.

i love that music video so much; like his brain is already operating on a different frequency entirely, but then you add you into the mix, and it becomes something else completely, cannot get enough of it. and he just got on stage with 5sos which angered every single callum girlie for the verse theft, but personally made me so happy because it's just two gothic children finding each other and becoming friends, very much wednesday-has-a-guitar-and-bass-solo energy, and i am fully here for it. i'm so jealous about the mannequin selfies, honestly. i would have been throwing up peace signs in every single one and completely unashamed about it. but the symbolism of it though — wanting to hide behind the stories and perceptions people build of you because the idea of someone actually seeing you is terrifying, that's not just a cool prop, that's a whole thesis. and god bless nickelback but they do an extraordinary amount of wailing, so honestly you'd probably blend right in, and that's not an insult, that's a compliment to your shower performances. they're such an iconic choice, though; I used to listen to 'far away' on loop, fully convinced it was going to manifest the perfect love affair into existence. spoiler: it did not work immediately, but i remained hopeful.

hm, gossip? absolutely none, my life is currently as dry as the sahara which is genuinely a little sad because i too love a good plot twist in my own storyline. but what i will tell you is what my life is also missing and that's a wandavision movie, because i saw your character was trending during sdcc despite being completely absent from the doomsday trailer and honestly the disrespect of it all. i just miss my witchy girl who bends reality to her will on a tuesday because if her current reality isn't giving her what she wants she'll simply go build one that does, and honestly, same, wanda, same.

the way i snatched those tickets up so fast the moment i saw you being the opening act for sombr. like i love him. and getting your angelic voice before he shows up on stage ? best of both worlds. i'm clearly winning here. especially if you're open to set-list requests, just saying. but you're right, his brain really is someting else entirely and we're all here for it. not sure what he'll come up with next but it'll have all of us questioning how someone's brain manages to come up with stuff like that. ( i mean this in a loving way ). anyway, can't sing to save my life but if i'd have to choose ― michael jackson. just so we could do the moonwalk together. or robbie. bringing me out to do a duet of "angels" to finish his show. ten out of ten for my opening act fantasies. you being the real deal out of the two of us though, who would you pick ?

stop, you're making me want to hand-deliver backstage passes right now. and good on you for surviving the ticketmaster waiting room gauntlet because that is genuinely a psychological endurance sport, and you deserve a lanyard with my face on it just for making it through. what song are you putting in the request though? i need to know if it's making the core setlist or staying as a surprise number; logistics matter. michael jackson is a supreme choice, and i still haven't gotten around to the new movie, which is genuinely embarrassing considering i watched both elvis ones the moment they dropped, the jacob elordi and the austin butler, so i really have no defensible excuse there. no wonder you're a fan though, your taste is clearly immaculate. and 'angels' is iconic, but can we talk about 'rock dj' for a second because that song had a chokehold on my singstar and went platinum in my living room. mine would be lana, led zeppelin, or prince — any of the three and i'm done for.

i actually picked up snowboarding around seven, so i'm not exactly threatening anyone's podium at the winter olympics, but i did do a movie called cloud 9 where i played a professional snowboarder, so that's basically the same thing. we've clearly got a whole sport energy going on between us.

congratulations, that's awesome! i can't wait to see videos from the tour popping up somewhere... only if recording is allowed, of course. i think for me, a dream opening slot would have been for the tragically hip or for johnny cash back in the day. their music has been such a huge inspiration to me over the years. how long is the tour for? i'm not touring myself, but i'll be heading out to shanghai for a few weeks of shows later this year, so i'm really looking forward to that.

i'm pretty sure it is, and i'm already mentally preparing for the sea of camera phones flooding the pit — always feel genuinely awful for whoever's stuck behind them on their tiptoes, and as someone who is very much on the shorter end of the spectrum, i would not last five minutes behind that wall. i'd be watching the whole thing through someone's elbow. going old school, love it, and as the most predictable person alive i'm obviously more familiar with johnny cash, but can you imagine the pyrotechnics on 'ring of fire' though? that would have been an experience and a half. three weeks, so it's short, but honestly, a good month out of twelve isn't the worst deal ever made. and shanghai, what's the setup?

I can't believe we are already half way through the year. Like where did the time go? All I remember is I started the year across the pond and now we are at the end of july. Its just so crazy how time flies now a days as you get older. @limelightblvdstarters

Well, shit. I'm deff going to have to give a grammy nom a listen to. We practice our moves before the shows. But, sometimes we miss a spot. For promo's on live tour shows, we usually a little off, what we are suppose to say. It's more freely to say something we wouldn't say on live tv to get the crowd to have a laugh. He's more chaotic, bringing the comedy side to things. Which I guess the company is like well, Dom can do both. Let's see where it lands.

Is this the time where I say that I've never listened to a single one of his songs? I mean, I've hung out with him a couple of times but... yeah, never listened to his music. I'm so happy for you though. Getting your music out there to a wider audience. I'm still mad as hell that they haven't let you release your album yet cause you're such a brilliant artist. i love the audacity, honestly, knowing the man personally, but never once hitting play — that’s a very specific kind of chaos, and i respect it. go stream him immediately though; consider that an order. and thank you, genuinely, because i feel like touring with someone at that level and that reach might finally be the thing that makes my label look up from whatever they’re doing and go okay, fine, album time — so we’re crossing every finger, every toe, every available limb until further notice. it’ll also give me a whole new set of songs to actually play with on stage, which i am desperately ready for. and yes, absolutely coming to a show, especially the festival you’re running, knowing it’s supporting women’s charities because you really do know how to show up in every sense of the word. but listen, if ac/dc is on the table then i am not sitting that one out gracefully — i want in, i want to be on that stage with you, because a setlist that contains ‘shook me all night long’ and ‘hells bells’ is not something i am watching from the wings like a normal person.

Music, I'm a little bit into everything. But, I'm open to know what's this sombr is about. Must be good, if he's on tour right? The live shows, the ones you don't see on your tv screens, we have more freedom to go off script. So, Yeah it's way more fun. We don't get much sleep as is, so we're jut use to getting a couple of hours in and then heading off to the next show. There's a lot going on, at the moment. Right now, the next ppv for us is Summer Slam. I'm booked out here about to fight a guy who has his face painted. His name is Danhausen, and he curses everyone to lose. That's his entire character trait, he just comes out or is in backstage promos, and curses everyone to lose their fight, maybe even get hurt. You might have seen him out at the knicks games and on sports news as well. WWE is really pushing him.

grammy-nominated good, so yes, he has earned the tour and then some — i think you're going to get it immediately. and okay wait, so going off script in a live setting where you're also, you know, physically fighting someone is a whole other level of unhinged in the most impressive way possible, because at least with the staged stuff i'm assuming you have some rough idea of what's coming at you? like a general blueprint? off script feels like you're just out there making executive decisions with your body in real time, and i respect that enormously. and i'll be honest, danhausen is a name i did not have on my bingo card today but i am fully invested now — but i need clarification because this is important, are we talking actual mystic cursing energy, like voodoo doll, pins, ancient ritual situation? or is it more of a he just walks out radiating chaos and everyone around him mysteriously starts losing? because both are valid career paths honestly, i just need to know which one i'm dealing with.

you are genuinely this close to convincing me to drop everything and do a full the 100 rewatch because it has been forever and i will be slightly embarrassing myself by admitting this to you of all people, but i’m not even entirely sure i finished it which is probably a crime i should not be confessing right now — i did however have a very real, very committed obsessive phase at the start so at least i came in with the right energy. i just may have lost the plot somewhere along the way, literally.

the jealousy i feel about you knowing how to actually ride horses — and i don't mean the sad little pony situation at the state fair, i mean full professional competition, lasso in hand, the whole cinematic cowboy moment — is something i think about more than i should. you and gi are both exceptional at it, and i am simply a girl who watches in awe from the sidelines. so please, i’m opening the floor because i need everything — their names, their breeds, their personalities, whether they have a little attitude about them, your favorite thing to do with them, a trick they do that makes you completely lose it — all of it. this is a safe and very eager space, and i am ready to fangirl embarrassingly hard about your horses with you.

i’m touring with sombr at the end of the year, and i genuinely cannot put into words how excited i am, mostly because i am completely and utterly obsessed with that man — like, how could you not be? his ‘homewrecker’ music video was essentially a full cinematic cowboy deep dive into forbidden love, and i was not okay about it, and then he comes back with ‘my body isn't ready’ featuring a newspaper-clippings mannequin and i — honestly i can’t even explain it, you just have to watch it and let it change you a little. his brain is something else entirely. so, who else is out here hitting the touring grind later this year? and even if you’re not, indulge me — whose that one artist, living or dead, active or retired, that you would absolutely lose your mind to open for? no wrong answers, very wrong answers welcome too.
