Federviehsorgen
Ich fühle mich zerzaust und uneins mit mir. Abends um acht so gar, dass ich ins Bett möchte, wache ich um eins wieder auf und finde keine Ruhe mehr. I find the difference between Till in character and off character truly fascinating during a concert! Like he had some kind of switch, on and off. When he's walking to the platform or to the stage it's like he switched it off and his whole body language change!
Yes I see what you mean... He manages to move on from his stage character : sure of himself, strong, outgoing, master of the game and of fire ; to the normal, terribly shy Till, who hardly dares meet people's eyes when he walks towards the small platform. This ambiguity is something he appreciates, he likes to play a role, on stage as off stage, and he is very strong to switch from one to another in seconds, changing his behavior, his attitude, his way of being, of looking at people and to opening or closing himself. He adapts a bit like a chameleon.
I also think it must be pretty scary and suffocating to go through the crowd to get to one stage or the other. On stage you have your space, you can move and you are elevated, you are so free to walk, to be in motion without being hampered and without disturbing others. Whereas when you pass through these little alleys and you know that you are surrounded by 50,000 people, it must not be very reassuring...
