Uhm. Hi! My name is Takeuchi Yuuji, but I mostly go by Yuu. I’m like 80% sure that most of you already know me, because being Night Raven College’s first ever magicless student is KIND OF a big deal, but—uh—if you don’t, here’s a few questions answered:

Are you from another world? — Yes, I’m not native to Twisted Wonderland. I woke up in a coffin/gate/whatever in NRC and I don’t know how I got there or why I was there. I’m just here.

What’s your homeland like? — Pretty similar to this one, but we don’t have any magic. Also we have totally different countries, and stuff. I’m working on getting back there now.

What’s it like being the first magicless student in such a prestigious Arcane Academy? — Not gonna lie, it’s a bit overwhelming. Fighting the feeling of unbelonging is… A Lot! But I am making it work! I think!

Why were you accepted into NRC without magic? — I have charisma! I guess? Crowley said something about me being a beast tamer and said that I could get the prideful students of NRC to cooperate, so he let me in. That’s all I know.

Why do you have a cat with you? — He wants me to let you know that he is NOT a cat. He’s a direbeast called Grim, and he forms a composite student with me so that we can experience the whole of the student experience at NRC.

What’s it like being Housewarden of an empty dorm? — I’m really just another student. I guess I do technically have SOME authority, but I can’t really exercise it. I’m also recognized as Prefect, but Crowley never told me any details of what that title means.

"A few days now, maybe a week or two, I dont really remember. Im just having so much fun!!" He said, though it wasnt really true. He wasnt really having fun. In fact he was rather mostly numb.

“Fun? I should think getting turned into a god is a little more concerning…” [ Yuuji frowns. ] “Or is this some other Twisted Wonderland thing I’ve yet to hear about?”

[ Yuuji steps back, putting up his hands. A cold shiver runs down his spine at the thought. ] “Me, a god? I’m magicless, Ortho. I’d be the lamest god ever.”

"Okay, but hear me out, what if I make you the god of magic. It would be funny, no?"

“The god of magic?” [ Yuuji repeats it aloud, brow furrowing. ] “You’d make a guy who can’t use magic… into a god of magic? I mean, it WOULD be funny, but…”

[ And then it hits him. If I accept, maybe I can use my new godly powers for the better? Get rid of overblots, open up a gateway between this world and mine—

and outlive everyone I love as an immortal entity?

Yuuji swallows. His fingers twitch as he thinks, drumming against his leg. ]

"You dont even gotta worry about outlining everyone either! I can just make them gods! Ive already gotten Sebek and idia to join us!"

[ Yuuji blinks, caught off guard. ] “I can see you convincing Idia, but Sebek? That must have taken a lot of work.”

[ Something feels off about this. Now, Yuuji knows he has a habit of finding something off in everything, but that is a habit earned by experience. His heel scuffs in the Ramshackle garden dirt. ] “Honestly, Ortho, I don’t know what to think. Becoming a god is a… pretty permanent thing.”
