adjacent to her mind she had her thoughts wrapped in a bow with a note that said don’t think too much

she was like a rose and when you got close enough she would prick you with her thorns and even though she looked withered she had a lot of beauty to offer

she lived near a pond where she spent most of her time reflecting on herself observing living being someone other than herself

but eventually she fell apart unwrapped her thoughts and thought for a while she wanted everything to be over she just wanted a way out

so she shed her petals over the water and died in the pond her last memories in the water now more beautiful because it was now rose water
