Legend of the Blue Sea

Another late viewer, another late review. This drama aired last 2016 and I just watched it now lol hello 2021. Any, This has 20 episodes and one special episode. While watching the drama, I thought the timeline was a little bit confusing but then, joseon era and present time was indeed different. Both characters from the joseon era and present time are the same including their personalities. 

I’ll start with the present names and later I’ll reveal their joseon era names. It was so fascinating that I liked what’s happening. We have here first the ultimate conman, Heo Joon Jae. Well, he uses a lot of different names, but Joon Jae is the real one. Together with his team, Nam Doo and Tae Ho, they do a lot of projects which all lead to scamming their clients. Then we have our mermaid, she didn’t have a name first but was given the name Shim Cheong by Joon Jae. You might think that they have a lot of characters (maybe a bit) but as you watch it, you will memorize all of them. SPOILERS UP AHEAD.

Joon Jae and his team got a lot of money from their latest work that led all of them to enjoy their own time. Joon Jae went to Spain and there he met a girl. The mermaid. She doesn’t have a name but due to unexpected happenings, they end up travelling together until Joon Jae was being chased by their client’s men. To make it short, in order to get away, they jumped; and our mermaid erased his memories. A few months later, they met again in Seoul. And the story goes on~~~ 

What I like/love about this is drama is that even though there are a lot of serious situations, they never fail to keep the comedy on the run. One is, when Ma Dae Young tried to kidnapped Shim Cheong and there was Joon Jae with the two detectives and giving orders. Lol who's the boss now? A lot of scene where Joon Jae is bossing these detectives are in the drama and it was so funny. Also, another funny part is when Cheong met another mermaid. Kilig crumbs started when Joon Jae tried to push away Cheong but then he was tracking her. OMG. MY HEART! I also liked how everyone was connected and how Nam Doo and the Ahjussi (I forgot the name. But it was Dam Ryeong's bestfriend. PUTING THIS ALLCAPS SO I CAN EDIT THIS PART. SELF, REMEMBER THIS) was super loyal. Both past and present.

My rating for the drama was 9/10. It was long but it really explained everything. I didn't think something was missed out. Although, the chase with Ma Dae Young and Joon Jae's step mom was just so little that I want to see them suffer more. Lol. And again, it was a little bit boring at the start but don't drop the drama. It's also worth it. I just find it sad that Cheong had to erase the memories of everyone. And I wanted to know who are the parents of the kid because one thing's for sure, she has a mermaid blood.

My Secret Romance

My Secret Romance is a 2017 drama that I just watched now. Lol. So this is about Cha Jin Wook and Lee Yoo Mi who had one night stand and meeting up three years later. SPOILERS UP AHEAD.

Lee Yoo Mi is a nutrionist who started working in Daebok Group. Cha Jin Wook is the heir of the Daebok Group. You know what happens next right? Of course they would meet. But not immediately. This happened three years after they shared one night together.

Well, this is drama has too much feels. Too much kilig, too much cuteness, too funny, and a little bit of annoyance. So it's the perfect drama for me. You can expect sweet kisses. Yes, I felt again the sweet kisses. You can see some cute kiligs whenever Jin Wook is smiling because of Yoo Mi. I also find it all their moments together cute. Even though sometimes, they made me cry, JUST MAKE UP WITH EACH OTHER PLEASE!!!! Jin Wook is also funny because of those slow-mo scenes when he's walking around a few people. Yes he's handsome but it's funny! It was also funny when he's trying to recreate his looks and some small stuff that has something to do when they spend the day (and night of course) together. Any, Yoo Mi is so strong, I admire her. Even though she's, I think, the clumsiest character I ever watched. I love how Yoo Mi can also be honest to her bestfriend, Jung Hyun Tae when he confessed. I love how Hyun Tae and Yoo Mi's relationship wasn't tarnished after he confessed. That's how it should work!!! Then we have Joo Hye Ri who's really annoying at the start but then she just really needs to find someone who would feel the same for her. It was so cute when she finally found someone for her. I find Secretary Jang always funny. He was indeed the best person to be beside Jin Wook. I also like her fling with one of the cooks. They were funny. THE OST ARE ALSO GOOD!!!!

My rating would be 9/10. To be exact, I don't think something is missing. Well maybe except for the fact that Chairman Cha wanted a grandchild that he can also post on sns. I even wanted to see that actually. Also, I wanted to see where Yoo Mi and Jin Wook would be together at Jin Wook's mother's restaurant. So, why isn't it perfect? Because why wouldn't these two confess at an earlier time? I mean, it's okay to break up, I just hope they had more time that they were officially dating. But not that I am complaining for all those kilig moments. I love it. Joo Hye Ri is right all time that hard to get people are annoying. Lol. Although there were fights between Yoo Mi and her Mom, I liked how her mom pushed Yoo Mi. Though whenever her mom opens her mouth, it's like a bomb. People may really judge about being an erotic actress or one night stand, but I have to agree on what Yoo Mi's mother said on her last interview. Also, I have to say, THERE WERE TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS DRAMA WHO WRRE ALSO IN THE DRAMA ONE PERCENT OF ANYTHING. Jeon Seo Min made a cameo, Jin wook's mother, the kitchen staffs (YES THE FOUR OF THEM), then Yoo Mi's mother actress friend. Also the guy host. If I missed someone I'm sorry. Even the drama one percent of anything was shown lol. This drama is recommended for people who wants to laugh, to cry, to be annoyed, and to feel love. Thumbs up! Oh btw, don't skip after you see those pictures like the episode has ended. Don't!!! There's still more lol watch it!

Orange

Before I write anything, I would like to put a Trigger Warning to anyone who might read this. This post may tackle about depression, suicide, death, and mental health. Please read at your own risk.

I watched this anime titled Orange. It's been on my list for a long time, but I always watch a different show. But now, I've watched it. And, damn, I'm not very okay after. Not in a bad way, but due to the heavy topic in the anime, I was crying every episode and now, my eyes are still hurting. And I thought, I need to post and write this ASAP so I can release some of the burden I got watching it.

Orange was about 6 friends in highschool who buried a timecapsule that they would read after 10 years. 6 letters, only 5 were able to read their own letter. They lost one of them in an accident, or so they thought that it was an accident. SPOILERS up ahead. I won't hold back because this is for me as well.

Naho received a weird letter from herself from the future. She read a few of it that seems to match to what us currently happening. There is a new student, Kakeru. Naho, Suwa, Azusa, Takako and Hagita befriended the new student, Kakeru. They became close, and all of what's written on the letter from the future seems to be happening. Naho is relying on the letters so much that she forgets to ask her friends for help. Until, one of them, Suwa, revealed that he also got a letter from the future. Turns out, all 5 of them got a letter. All letters were talking about on how to save Kakeru. Kakeru, even though he smiles a lot and enjoys the company of the 5, deep inside, he's in deep trouble. Due to the trauma he has after he lost his mother. His mother was having mental problems and Kakeru blames himself on why his mother decided to end her life.

The current time setting, Kakeru was no longer with them. 10 years after they lost Kakeru, they all thought it was an accident. But they read Kakeru's time capsule letter to find out that it may not have been an accident. They went to Kakeru's home and found out that it wasn't indeed an accident. Kakeru did ended his life as well. This is why they attempted to write for their past selves. No guarantees that it will arrive but they still did. They all wanted to save Kakeru, a precious friend. These 5 have too much regret about Kakeru that they were willing to do anything to make sure Kakeru will be happy if given a chance.

Alright I have to stop, I'm crying again. But if you will watch this anime, I have to rate this a 9/10. It really gave me a roller coaster of emotions. I was crying when they are sad, I was crying when they're happy. I felt every emotion they had. On a personal note, I felt I may have been like Kakeru at some point, as to why I feel I am so affected by this. I love also how they treat each other so well and how they love each other. Suwa was even willing to sacrifice his love for Naho just to make sure Kakeru and even Naho will be happy. Everyone was so selfless that they made sure that they wanted Kakeru happy in this world. Hagita, Takako and Azusa was always there too to make sure Kakeru will be happy in this world. The way the 4 of them supports Naho and Kakeru will be the best thing they can give. I just have to add, these people are the kind of friends that deserves to be treasured. Thinking about the world where they didn't know about losing Kakeru, they already treasured Kakeru up until their future, and in the world where they were trying to save Kakeru, you will see how much Kakeru mean to them that they made sure he will be happy and taken care of.

Always talk to your friends. Don't be pushy at all times, you can say something to them at one point, but not always. Make sure they feel you and your sincerity towards each other. You don't need to be physically always there, but make sure they know that you will be there. It's also good to breakdown once in a while. ~Yes I'm about to breakdown in tears anytime~ Regret will always be here, so we need to make sure everything counts.

P.S. I can't even talk about the romance much because I was really focused on the topic about saving Kakeru. But there is a romance involved in Naho and Kakeru. These two are cute and a bit frustrating but still, it was good. This is the only anime that made me cry every episode. The top on my list that made me cry episode will always be One Litre of Tears.

Bagel Girl

Another special post. Bagel Girl is a Korean anime about a guy waking up the next day and became a girl. They usually use the term bagel girl for a pretty face and sexy body. 

Bong Gi is a guy working in an internet cafe. He is being looked down due to his weight. He was about to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge and due to unknown reason, he wasn’t able to drown himself. So he went home and felt sick. Next day, he became a girl. I actually can tell the whole story how and why it happened but then there you might not watch it. So I’ll make sure to limit the information.

Bong Gi asked online if what happened to him is actually a normal thing. At first, he was being ridiculed but then there was a girl who believed her, Sae Mi. Sae Mi helped Bong Gi adjusting in living as a girl. A lot of things would be revealed through the short anime such as who is the girl Bong Gi became, what happened to her, what is Sae Mi’s role in Bong Gi’s life.

My rating would be 7/10. It was all good but for a short anime, it has too much content. Everything was explained well tho. But I’m not really sure what’s what but I felt something was lacking while I was watching it.

Horimiya

This is a special post because this is an anime. So this is available on nextflix. A 13 episode anime that would keep you hooked and can be watched in one sitting. The story goes about a popular girl who has actually a lot of chores at home and a boy who’s a little bit aloof but behind it he actually has a lot of those piercings and tattoo which he flaunts outside school. Well this was what netflix described the anime. But describing it myself, it was more of like, the story was about a boy finding people who understands and accepts him the way he is. Finding friendship and love unexpectedly and all moments to cherish.

To be honest, I like everything. I like how everyone started to become close to each other just because of one person. I like how people accept each and everyone whether they have flaws. They never intend to make a big issue. They solve it right away which makes it fun. It was also good how they can lean and depend on each other. It’s like these group of people were made for each other. For relationship, I like how accepting and open minded they are. I mean, there are a few randomness but it was funny. I can’t even choose a favorite part coz everything is just so good and kilig. Makes me wanna have that kind of lovelife too. CHAROT

I'll rate it 9/10 coz the description on netflix only lasted for about two episodes. And then pictures at the end were all like special pictures that were never played. Unfair!!! I WANTED THOSE But overall, it was so goooooood. I loved it. All characters were justified. It’s worth my time and staying up late. 

For special post like this I intend not to include any spoilers as much as possible but pictures would do.

P.S. it's the year 2026 and I am editing this post and adding a tag because I read the Manga (Jan 2026) and I watched S2 (Oct 2025) Idk when did I post this but I remember watching it either 2022 or 2023.

So for S2, THE ONES I WANT ON THE RATINGS I MADE WERE THERE HUHU I AM SORRY FOR DOUBTING LOL INDEED THE MISSING PIECES WERE THERE. But still it is a 9/10 for me because I think there were still missing pieces from the Manga lol but I have to say, they did very well with the Anime. Miyamura's feelings were very much highlighted and I'm glad they did that. In the Manga, it was just a like for a specific chapter but for the Anime, it was more often talked about. It was more detailed.

Gakuen Babysitters

This is another special post because it’s an anime. Posting this here because I highly recommend it. These 12 episode anime is so cute. I mean, you won’t have to worry about anything but just completely cute babies who won’t bring harm. BUT I’M KIDDING. They’re harmless but some are troublemaker. Watching this anime will just give you a satisfactory feeling. You can completely chill by watching this.

The story starts with two brothers, Ryuichi and Kotaro who recently lost their parents. They were invited by a rich lady who owns a school. She lets them live with her and provide what they need, i.e. schooling, foods, house, etc. but in exchange, Ryuichi will be part of the Babysitters club wherein the teacher’s children are left there. Ryuichi takes care of his brother, Kotaro and the kids, namely, Taka, Kirin, Kazuma, Takuma, and Midori, with another permanent staff of the club, Usaida. They spend most of the time in the club. Enjoy the cuteness of this anime. You won’t regret.

Rating would be 10/10. Because why not? I really don’t need those romance stuff (tho it was included like maybe 10% lol). Any, you won’t regret it. Just watch it.

Ju-On: The Origins

This is a 2020 (mini)series on Netflix about the popular movies, The Grudge/Ju-on. There are a lot of movie installment of the grudge but this series is about the history.

Well, I've watched almost all films and all versions of the Grudge and I can say that The Origins, has somewhat a different feel. I mean, it's all there but something's missing. If you think, this is the old time scary movie, no it's not. Horror level is like at 20-30% of the series only. It's more on telling us what happened and how it started. If you will watch this and you haven't watched the movies, good for you then. You won't be too confused about how and why it started. It's was actually same but I'm really not sure what happened first or was it the same because there weren't any names given.

My rating for this show is 6/10. I'm not saying it's not worthy to watch. But yeah, it was a bit boring. But it was good because it sticked to one story and it's doesn't go to flashback to present too much. Yes there were jumps to flashback but it's not that confusing. It had a good plot too. But for anyone who's expecting a scary series about this, it isn't. Please be advised that there might be inappropriate scenes to some so you may just skip some part too.

Marry Me

Marry Me is a 2020 japanese drama. It is a 10 episode short drama. It's about a newly passed law wherein a government worker and a person who was registered for the program will get married. According to the drama, due to the low population, they decided to do this law in order to have more children. Program was also called NEET. So I may use that term later.

This drama has only 23 mins per episode, so you can watch it in one sitting. The main characters are Sawamoto Himari and Akiyasu Shin. Himari became a (somehow) shut-in girl due to recent events. Akiyasu is a government worker and was chosen to be their first pair (or first trial) for the law.

I have to say this drama is good. I mean, you may think that the pacing of the story was fast, but then it was also understandable. You won't miss a detail. No unnecessary information was given. Everyone in the drama was nice. I have to say thank you for the early scenes of the people who'd like for them to break up. And they didn't do much about it. They just gave up, like, okay you guys live together. Which I really like because I don't have to get hurt. I also like how Himari can sometimes be innocent but matured. You'll get what I mean if you watch it. I also felt the love between Himari and Shin. Even though you started as strangers, it really is better if you talk to them especially since you'll be spending your whole life together. I also like how Shin's family was able to fix their relationship and be happy as a family with Himari.

My rating for this would be 10/10. I was supposed to give it a 9 but then I should stop asking for more lol because it was really enough. If there are things that I didn't like, I have to think about it. Well, maybe there's one. Momotaro, Himari's cat. I thought Momotaro would have a like a big part to their married life, but it didn't. Not that I did not like it but I was just curious. Like what would Himari do if Momotaro died, what would Shin do as well? But hey, thank you for not including that. It would definitely give us a sad part. Also, there are some parts wherein you can predict what will happen next, but you really don't have to worry. It's not a bad thing to expect what will happen tho.

Go Go Squid!

Go Go Squid! is a 2019 chinese drama based on a novel with the same title ~ugh this sounds too formal lol going back~. Personally, I'm not really sure if this should be classified as an esport drama or rom-com drama. But it can be both as both genre were present. Like, both were presented 50% each for the drama.

We have Tong Nian as the female lead character and Han Shangyan as the male lead. For this drama, it has a lot of characters. But I'll jusy group them for your reference.

Team K&K, we have the main people, Han Shangyan, Wu Bai, Grunt, Demo, 97, One, Su Cheng. For Team SOLO, we have Solo, Appledog, Xiao Mi, Ou Xiang and Han Shangyan. Team Solo disbanded after a few years and a new team formed named Team SP with a few of the original members of Team Solo. Then, we have Tong Nian, Sun Yaya, Lan Mei, Lan Mei's hubby (sorry I forgot the names huhu), Tong Nian's cousin/s, parent, & relatives. Also Han Shangyan's grandpa and step mom. If I forgot another character I'm soooooo sorry.

Tong Nian is a post-graduate student. An online singer with looooots of fans, under the name Little Squid.

Han Shangyan is K&K's founder, aka Gun of Team Solo. Considered as the master of CTF. Please don't ask me about CTF, I still don't understand it but except the fact that they're competiting with cyber security something.

SPOILER UP AHEAD. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

My favorite parts are too many. Jk. But seriously, there are a lot of parts that I found entertaining. Especially when the kids of K&K love to snoop on Han Shangyan and Tong Nian's moments. I like how they joke with their boss then later becomes scared. Then again, goes back to being naughty. I also found it cute that they were each other's first love. I'M JEALOUS!!! Also, I like it when Shangyan and Tong Nian are being lowkey sweet to each other. THAT'S WHAT I WANT IN LIFE! This may also be the reason why I like those part so much. It was also cute when Shangyan creates an account just to reply to Niannian's posts. I also like the parts where there are quite a few things that are like a reality. Some would be, your parents would always be the judge of your lovelife. Your parents/elders are really nosy. Proposing would not always get a yes. You know this drama is also amazing like Nian nian's friend, Yaya, she met her idol and they end up together. On a scale of 1-10, how does that usually happen? 1, right? Any, both are cute. I also like when DT is lowkey making some moves to Ai Qing. I won't list all the parts I liked because it's was too many, just imagine how many would you found in a 41 episode drama. But then, there also a lot parts wherein you can just skip it but, make sure you understand the story before skipping.

Though it was a good drama, my rating would be 8/10. It was okay, but I actually got bored in some parts. Like I was about to drop the drama. But like I always say, give it a chance. And yayy I finished it! I haven't read the book (there are english translation available online) but in the drama, I guess, the flashbacks were too much for me. I know that flashbacks help us understand why the character is acting that way on the present time, but seriously, some flashbacks were not necessary. Some were repeated a lot of times. And I'm not really sure but there was something in a few flashback that wasn't adding to the whole flashback story. This is also why I hate too much flashbacks because sometimes, it makes everything more complicated and then it isn't necessary. The reason why I also cannot conclude if it was an esport or romcom, because it was really mixed. I've watched an esport drama but it wasn't like this. And of course we know how rom-com works, and you might be disappointed because sometimes it isn't there. I recommend this show to people who needs a different genre. But for people who would want something light and fun, you can watch this but you might get bored but then again, don't drop it. Just skip a few parts.

P.S. I googled Go go squid and saw that there will be a season 2 but it is the spin off of DT and Appledog's story. It was all great and I'm excited until I found out that not all actors who were in the drama would be retained. The characters are still there but they changed actors, including Appledog. My gosh. Don't they know how cute DT and Appledog is? Any, this is not a new case. Most chinese dramas that gives a second season, they always change actors.

HapiMari

Happy Marriage aka HapiMari is a 2016 Jdrama (I just googled it and it was from a Mangaaaaa!! Any...). This is about a marriage contract that you may thought have started randomly, but it isn't. It is may also be the typical poor girl marries a rich man to pay their debts then the man has a complicated family. Well, it is but the complicated family is waaaay more complicated than what you can expect. SPOILERS ARE UP AHEAD.

So for our characters, let me start with Chiwa. Takanashi Chiwa, the girl who had no choice but to say yes to Hokuto's offer of marriage. But not at first, there were a few asking made before the yes was given. Next would be, Hokuto. Mamiya Hokuto, the most handsome bachelor according to the drama. The illegitimate son of the first son of the Mamiya Household. Family tree is a bit complicated but I'll share it later. (hopefully I don't forget). These two are the main cast, but I would include Yagami Yuu as well, he is the part-timer at Chiwa's work. Shirata Misaki is the ex-girlfriend of Hokuto. Souma is the ever loyal secretary of Hokuto. These are the names that I'll be mentioning below.

Favorite parts. One would be when they started conveying feelings. Like they haven't actually confessed but they showed it to each other. Allies turned lovers. How cute, right? Also, I like how Souma was always there to protect not just Hokuto but Chiwa as well. You know, I just love it when Chiwa and Hokuto is at peace.

I can't say I hated these parts but it was there for a reason. Like, Chiwa's father is too addicted to gambling and I'm like, ARE THERE FATHERS OUT THERE WHO'S LIKE HIM? Also, I feel bad for Yagami. He was always there, he was so understanding, and he always takes Chiwa's side but yeah, he didn't deserve to be heartbroken. He's also cute lol. Then with Misaki, I'm not sure if I should really hate her or not. Okay, maybe 70% hate and 30% fine, u did well. Hate for how she pushes her self to Hokuto. Hate how she acts superior and know-it-all infront of Chiwa. Fine because she didn't do anything to Chiwa. Fine also, because she didn't throw a fit after receiving the postcard.

My rating for this drama would be 9/10. I liked it as a whole. Although there were a lot of complicated stuff with Hokuto's family. With everyone hungry for power and, killing everyone who's being a hindrance, still, the drama was good. Also, sometimes, I hate it when Chiwa rants. I hate it when Hokuto keeps his mouth shut. UGH THIS COUPLE IS FRUSTRATING. The drama is a recommended one. Short but sweet. Thank you for this drama.

Go Back Couple

Go Back Couple, a korean drama last 2017. It's about a married couple who suddenly woke up and both of them turned back to the time where they were 20 years old. It's a refreshing plot wherein both remembers what happened on their current lives. SPOILERS UP AHEAD.

For our characters we have Ma Jin Joo and Choi Ban Do as the main couple. The couple are suffering and unhappy on their married life and they just want to go on their separate ways. It was so sudden and no explanations given (at first) and they turned back to being 20 before they meet each other.

I love how supporting characters gave us a lot of laughter. I mean, I'm sorry but the couple are giving me a headache. And they do a lot of things that are becoming weird to their surroundings. But I don't mind it all. Funniest part was when Go Dok Jae was stuck in the gate. Well, literally, all scenes of Go Dok Jae was funny. I can't say if the drama has a slow pacing or not because I want them to be together but I guess that's not how it works on this drama. They need to find their way on getting back together. I just love how it also shows what originally happened to both of them. It wasn't annoying when it goes from different year to another. It was just right, like here's the reason why they're acting like that, switch to the time where you will understand why it's happening like that.

My ratings for the drama would be 8/10. Well, I say the drama is really good. But since I'm annoyed at some parts, I have to give this rating. Also, I was kinda bored at the start but thank God the actors (everyone) was so good with their characters that even though I don't like the part, I still watch it because it's part of the story and they are really good actors. I recommend this drama as well, it's just if you feel bored and want to stop watching, please don't. I hope you continue until the end because it's really worth it. Also, prepare your tissues because we know Jang Nara is so good at crying and I just cried a lot.

Peninsula

This is another special post because this is a movie. So you know I watched Peninsula. A setting 4 years (both film release and film setting) after Train to Busan. We all know what happens then right, zombies here, zombies there, zombies everywhere.

The story started when Jeong Seok, together with his sister, brother-in-law and nephew were leaving the country, via ship, in order to be away from the apocalypse. Then you may guess what happens on the ship. Jeong Seok successfully arrived in Hong Kong and stayed there he was called by someone (SORRY AGAIN, I'M BAD WITH NAMES. THANK YOU GOOGLE) who will escort them back to Korea and find a truck with loads of money. They'll be rewarded once they were successful.

Okay, my rating would be 8/10. The movie was great and it was really thrilling. Tho sometimes I feel like I'm watching an anime. Lol. Then a lot of scenes were predictable. But why 8? Because it successfully delivered what should happen in that situation. It made me mad, it made me shocked, etc. It was just all right. Even though, I was annoyed a lot of times. I guessed a lot of things like what would happen next and this will surely happen and suddenly it happens. I mean, I would also love to write what were the predictable parts but I might just tell the whole story. Funny thing is we were identifying the characters from Peninsula with their equivalent characters from Train to Busan.

Inuyasha

This is a special post because it took me a month to finish the whole anime and movies, and this is not kpop or any drama related. As we all know, (and if you're around my age), Inuyasha was shown on tv when we were young. I remember the characters and a few stuff but I don't really remember what happened. So this is why, I watched it again. But kidding, I WATCHED IT BECAUSE I SAW THAT THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL AND IT'S ABOUT INUYASHA AND KAGOME'S CHILD AHHHHHH!!!!! Spoiler? I don't think so. I mean, it's really nothing tho. Don't consider this as spoiler because it's not. Just watch the anime, or read the manga ❤

Rewatching Inuyasha answered all my vague memories about it. Like how did Kagome went to the other world? How did the Sacred Jewel got shattered? How did they meet their friends? Why was Kikyo roaming around? And loooooots of question. One thing that stayed on my mind was Inuyasha becomes a human once in a while lol kidding during a new moon tho. All questions were answered, I think it's also a good thing to watch the movie because there was a part in the anime that I'm not sure if they met that character before but they are so familiar with each other already. But then at the movie, that's where they first met. (Watch out for Hojo's ancestor).

I'm thinking if I should read the manga soon, but don't expect me post something about the manga here lol but who knows, I might tho. Kidding. Idk what to do. Lol. Don't take me wrong ha. Just the theme of this blog is for kpop (which I barely post lol) and dramas.

Put Your Head on my Shoulder

A 2019 Chinese drama based on a book by Zhao Qianqian. She was also the writer of A Love so Beautiful so there was a vibe in this drama (PYHOMS) where it was like the same on ALSB. This is about Si Tu Mo and Gu Wei Yi who accidentally met and will continue to unexpectedly meet in all different kinds of situation.

For my favorite parts, I really like it when they casually confessed, it was like good morning I like you and good morning I like you too. I really like all the fun parts especially when Dr. Jiang and Zhou Lei were thinking of ways on how to make Gu Wei Yi confess. They found it very romantic but since we have Si Tu Mo who lives in a different perspective, it wasn't that easy. I also like the part where Si Tu Mo and Wang Shan had a very very little misunderstanding but when Momo (Si Tu Mo) announced at the dorm that she was accepted on a job that she loves, Shan shan (Wang S6han) was just listening there and being happy for her friend. I just love how they were so mature about it. And of course, I'm glad they made up. I also find it cute because of the fact that all members of Momo's and Gu Wei Yi's dorm are matched with each other lol. I also find it Momo's mother so funny and I thought that Gu Wei Yi's mother was kindof quiet but she is not when she's with Momo' mom. There is also a part where Momo met Jia Er, one of her high school classmate whom she had a little fight because of a guy. I thought she was there to make Momo's life miserable but she was there to be literally her friend and a colleague. Also, there's this part where Momo got drunk and Gu Wei Yi showed up then proving their relationship by saying they are the parent's of Circle HAHAHHA I'M SO SORRY. I SWEAR THAT PART IS SO FUNNY.

My rating for this drama would be 9/10. Although there were a lot of things that I wished would have happened in the drama but still it was a very good drama. I'm not sure if there are unnecessary parts-- I'll think about it later-- but for me, I was hoping for some of these. I thought that since Gu Wei Yi is somewhat popular, that their unofficial relationship would spread at the campus. But this is not necessary I was just lowkey hoping. Also, I was hoping for an official gathering at the end. I won't say anything is it's too much for a spoiler lol but I was just hoping that all cast would be gathered for something. As you all know, I always lowkey wait for the time when the couple would suddenly break up and again, it didn't happen. I want to say thank you to the author, for making a same vibe with ALSB. But this gave me less heartache. It was just good! So incase you'll watch it, I won't stop you! Better prepare yourself as I was kinda jealous. I want something like that too lol Okay I thought of something that annoyed me. This was just at the start but I was annoyed at Fu Pei for being like that to Momo. He was like always doing whatever he wants, he makes promises to Momo but always do something else, and he is so confident that Momo would always be there for him even tho he knows that they have some feels for each other. Well, in the end, I liked what Momo did and Fu Pei is somehow the bridge between Momo and Gu Wei Yi, so Thanks for that, Fu Pei! Don't forget to watch the extra chapter! Lol

Happy 9 Years with EXO!!!

I hasn't been that long since I become an official Exo-L. Maybe I can say again that I was there for the 9 years, but I was just really there for last 3 years. I've known you guys since your debut days. But I hated you. Why? Because I am a solid ELF and you came into scene when they were starting their enlistment. So let's be honest here, I hated SM too because I felt they were looking for a new Suju. I mean, EXO debuted with 12 members. Just like Suju. So yeah, my mind was wild. And I'm sorry I was too young back then. I also have to share that exo really became popular that you will see their names everywhere. Wolf 88 shirts, exo backpack, exo cap, name it. It was there! Then 2014 came I started to like our maknae, Sehun. 2015, I found Suho, my ultimate bias now in Exo. It was in 2018 when I formally stan Exo. And I don't regret it. Maybe it was always a hate-love experience for me. I mean, I hated Suju before I fangirled. But now, I love them so much. Exo will always have a special place in my heart. This may also be the perfect time for me to fangirl hard because I have a stable job which can suffice my fangirling needs.

Thank you Exo, for always being here for us, Exo-Ls. We will never stop being with you. I was late, but I will not stop this journey. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim

My last drama for my quarantine period. This is a 2018 drama with a simple title yet so witty. This is about a Vice Chairman's secretary for 9 years who suddenly wants to resign. Out of nowhere, so suddenly. So the vice chairman decided not to let go of her secretary by asking her unbelievable stuff just to make sure she stays. And so on and so forth happen, watch out how these two find out amazing things about them during these persuasion about not quitting. SPOILER ALERT!!!

So we have here, Kim Mi So is the secretary. Lee Young Joon is the vice chairman. Lee Sung Yeon is the brother of Lee Young Joon aka Morpheus. All supporting characters were meaningful and needed on the drama. It's just, they're too many to list down their names.

So, let's start now with my favorite parts. Before I list down all scenes (that I love), I lowkey (again ughhhh) waiting for a twist (that was not given ofc so just be happy with this drama!!!) Okay, I love all the scenes of Mi So and Young Joon together. All their sweet moments, also their jealous moments with someone else. It's so cute. And when they're you, I'm sad too. I love how Mi So was always so composed and she never falters. I also like the part whenever Young Joon consults with Mr. Park (Park Yoo Shik, I just don't know what name to use tho). Also, I like the amusement park surprise, I mean who wouldn't right???

My rating would be 9/10. Well, first thing is that they would never admit/discover their feelings if Mi So did not tried to resign. But then that's the point of the drama so, nevermind again lol. Second is, I think they failed to address those cable tries phobia (idk what it's called sorry) and the scar. I mean it was addressed to us viewers but I think, Mi So was quite curious with the cable ties and the scar on the ankle but they never got to talk about it. I'll just assume that Mi So may have found out herself about those two stuff. But these are just minimal so I'll let it slide. The drama was good! I mean, if you want to feel kilig, you can watch this. There are so many (a little bit) complicated stuff but they aren't boring. Also, there's no literal antagonist!!! I have to admit, during the scene where there was a kid who was kidnapped and Mi So was brought there after, I was so convinced that it really was Young Joon, but then it was suddenly Sung Yeon??? Like how????? Then everything is falling into pieces, and guess who it really was... (watch the drama!!! Too many spoilers are not good for the heart. Lol jk). Another thing that amazed me is about what happened to Young Joon and Sung Yeon's memory. Ohhhmg. Thank you to all supporting characters who added more fun to Young Joon and Mi So's love story. If it weren't for you, it wouldn't be super funny. There's also one thing that I realized from the start of the drama, the house where Young Joon lives, is the same house that Hyun Bin has on Secret Garden LOL AHHHHHKKKK!
