deep fear of mischaracterization

every now and then I get headcanon in my brain or character analysis that I think I should start sharing (yay more content) despite my fear of mischaracterising. My headanons are however, completely random and rarely set on one fandom

completly unecessary sexuality HC for Vanitas no Carte almost everyone agrees on anyway

Noé: Homosexual, also unaware that he's a homosexual. Pretty obvious crush on Vanitas he seems not to realize he has. I can imagine Noé being Noé and living in 17th century he has this assumption he has to like women because he's "supposed" to like them despite showing little interest in them romantically. He definetly feels some things but files them under liking him more then others or wanting to be close

Vanitas: Bisexual not because of Jeanne and me shipping him with Noé but more on vibes and vibes alone. He just has this energy

Dominique: Lesbian. She has show little interest in men, which i'm pretty sure she could gain attention from being an attractive woman. If i recall from the manga she doesn't really know how to operate on straight romance becouse of her sister scaring the men away, though when talking with Jeanne her main worry was that she couldn't give her proper advice

Jeanne: Honestly i view her as pansexual and demiromantic? I don't think she would care much for gender if she liked the person then again to figure out she likes someone she would need time for that. Then again i can imagine her being a part of Bureau (do i write it right?) forced her to repress a lot of her feelings and desires. Too much gay tenstion with the women she interacts with to be straight

Ronald: he's the most gay acting straight man you'd ever find

Oliver: canonically been with a lot of women then again i feel like religion is the only thing that prevents him from getting with a man. I'm sure he's curious, maybe just a little. Actually i can imagine him being happier with a man idk why

Johann: he's gay, do i even need to elaborate?

Riche: my girl is bisexual, probably another one that doesn't realize it. I can imagine her gushing over her book crushes (i don't need to Imagine her gushing over Dante that already happens) but she's probably in the category of thinking some girls just look cool or she "would date if she was a man" my dear, that's attraction

If you think about it Julian's clumsiness is a result of a bunch of different factors and makes a lot of sense. He's constantly sleep deprived, was on a pirate ship for three years and just went back on land so he has "sea legs" and let's not forget this man wears an eye patch since the plague, though i feel like since then he would be used to it since them

Part of Volta's deal with the devil must have been the phrasing. He definetly offered her a lot of food/to have always something to eat but didn't mention ceasing her hunger. She's constantly hungry no matter how she eats. If you think about it she's a wendigo of sorts

As much of a gentlemen noé archiviste is he'd defintely leave you hanging on a date. Not intentionally, he'd just wander off to whatever made him curious. He'd apologize a lot to you about it too

neko said that the connection to mc pierrot feels towards is more special becouse they're human so you can safely say he's a monster version of what a monsterfucker would be in role reversal

to disappoint all your fan fiction needs vampires in Vanitas no Carte would be mostly vanilla. Aside from things like biting, bloodplay or claiming. Then again it wouldn't even read as kink to them because a kink is a non-standard sexual turn on and to them that's a standard. Chains, collars, probably gags and muzzles etc. too would have been used to keep cursed vampires from attacking others, so it's what they associate it with

Aside from being an obvious yandere, I believe a major part of pierrots obsession & stalking with MC comes from fear and control issues since he couldn't protect Columbina and doesn't want to experience that kind of grief again. "If I look away I could lose them" kind of mindset taken to the extreme point of stalking, especially watching you sleep because that's when you are the most vulnerable. Honestly I imagine there is a lot of anxiety underneath his spying/breaking into your room.
