Lockwood: Barnes, can I...?
Barnes: No.
Lockwood: You don't even know what I was going to ask.
Barnes: I don't need to.
Lockwood (starts stomping off): Fine.
Barnes: Where are you going?
Lockwood: To ask your wife instead.
Barnes: She'll say no as well.
Lockwood: Oh no she won't....Oh, hi Mrs B.
Barnes (running after him: Carol! Carol, you are not to give him what he wants! I have already said no!
Lockwood: Can I tell you an amazing fact?
Barnes: I'm probably going to regret this but fire away.
Lockwood: If you get everybody in the world who works in Macdonalds to all stand in a circle and hold hands you will have to jump over the counter and serve yourself.
Barnes: When was the last time this kid slept?
Lucy (preparing sedatives): 41 hours ago.
Cameron said that in season 2 he wants to see Lockwood get rescued and I know EXACTLY what scene in The Hollow Boy he means 😭😭😭
I have posted on tumblr about a lot of different shows. Before Lockwood and co, I only ever got fifty likes at most.I now have over 500 likes and 58 reblogs on one of my posts. That is how big Lockwood and co is at the minute.
It's my headcanon that Jessica made Kipps promise he would look out for her little brother if Lockwood ever became an agent. So Kipps, knowing his talent is beginning to fade and that he won't be able to help anyone much, makes the bet with Lockwood in the hope he can force him out of the industry for Jessica's sake.
And it is why he will always protect him, even though they don't like each other.
I hope they actually talk about her in future seasons. There is definitely history there.
Lockwood: When I saw him, there was no way I couldn't adopt him. He looked so miserable and alone. He had been in the rescue shelter for a long time and getting a bit long in the tooth. If I hadn't taken him, they would have probably put him down...
George: Is Lockwood telling that made up story of how Kipps ended up living with us again?
Lucy: Yep.
Kipps: The scary think is, he has told it that many times I think he now genuinely believes that is how it happened.
Baby Locklyle again
Lucy has fast labours. Uncle Georgie literally only went out to do the weekly food shop and when he left, baby Locklyle was still happily curled up in mummy's tummy. When he came back, Baby Locklyle was having her first cuddle with Daddy.
George: I'm just waiting for Lockwood to get down on one knee and beg me to be his best man.
Quill and Jessica theory.
Quill and Jessica were about the same age and Quill fancied her. Lockwood was in awe of Kipps and used to follow him around badgering him all the time. Quill didn't like this little pest bothering him and getting under his feet so much and things eventually came to a head and Quill did something mean. Maybe Lockwood tried to touch his rapier and Quill, annoyed with the constant pestering and at the same time not wanting the little brat to accidentally cut his fingers off shoves him away but unintentionally pushes him over. Which makes Jessica furious at him for making her little brother cry and ruins any hope Quill has of actually getting together with her. And Quill blames Lockwood for that because over time our minds can distort recollections of certain events and we misrember things. Quill thinks that if he had been in a relationship with Jessica she might not have died (maybe he was meant to be hanging out with her at her house on that day before they had the falling out) and he blames Lockwood for her being angry with him instead of admitting that he behaved like an arsehole to a little kid.
Lockwood is going to be a groomzilla. Without a doubt. Best man Georgie is going to need the patience of a saint.

Seriously, how have I only just realized that they are playing with and stroking each other's fingers during the scene when he patches her up?
"We are not losing you, Georgie," or just the "Georgie," part for that matter is just so
😭😭😭😍😍😍😍😍
I honestly just want a scene where Lucy comes down to the kitchen and there is an older woman there (mid to late thirties) and if Lockwood was sat any closer to her he would be on her lap, and she is fussing over him like he is a really adorable puppy or kitten. And she asks George who this woman is and he tells her that she is Detective Barnes' wife, or Mrs B, as Lockwood calls her. And Barnes is standing in the corner of the kitchen seething, to the point that Lucy and George can almost see smoke coming out of his ears.
Neighbour: I'm putting my house on the market.
Lockwood: OK.
Neighbour: And there is a few things you can do to help me make a fast sale.
Lockwood: Really? Like what?
Neighbour: Well, for or one, could you ask your friend with glasses to please wear trousers when going past the windows?
Lockwood: Ah. That might be a little difficult, I'm afraid.
Neighbour: Why?
Lockwood: Because trousers are for wimps apparently.
Barnes' wife being like Mrs Weasley. In the sense she takes one look at Lockwood and just wants to mother him all the time and will scold Detective Barnes if he says anything 'mean' to him in her hearing. And Lockwood milks the situation for all it's worth.
I was watching the Macdonald's 'raise your arches' advert and the soundtrack (Oh yeah by Yello) actually suits the romantic tension between Lockwood and Lucy so much.
