I don't know what I'm feeling, maybe its regret or just depression. A mixture of both. I just lost my best friend basically. And it's my fault, I slammed the door on them. But I didn't want them to get hurt by me anymore. I know you can see this. I know you don't want to. But I need you to read this. I'm sorry, for putting you through this. It hits me harder than it hits you. Like a fucking gun being aimed at my chest and fired. Like a revolver. Now right now you'd expect something like, "Deep deep down I will always love you." This girl. Her names Delanie. And as a teenager I often hear or see, or just get in general, that teenagers aren’t poetic, but that’s because these “adults” haven’t gave it a shot at opening their eyes and ears, that there’s this girl, that is poetic, not only that but a poem, she gives this feeling that you’d want to share the world to. She’s something, and her being something, makes me feel everything. Before this girl came into my life I felt, well, nothing. I didn’t really care. I bullied kids, I didn’t really have patience, don’t get me wrong, I still don’t. But this girl she’s fixing me. She is something to others, but she is everything to me. Delanie is my poem, the one I’ll never show, Delanie is my night sky, the one I’ll stop while being outside to get a good look at, Delanie is my secret, the one I’ll never explain, because let me tell you, if you knew who Delanie is, you’d automatically want her and claim her as yours. But she’s mine, and I hope everyone knows. I love this girl.
