I don’t use tumblr very often because this whole website feels like a big mess, but I thought that I would share this flier for a show my band, Boys Kissing, is playing tomorrow.

Back in July, I was able to release my 2nd EP “A Dark Like This” despite all sorts of challenges that got in my way. I had to sacrifice a lot to complete this release, and even now I still question if it was worth it. I’ll go ahead and say that it was and I am very excited and truly shocked that I will even get to perform these songs live tomorrow.

Life is... complicated, right now. There has been a very great weight on my shoulders lately, it makes my chest hurt. I’ve been facing a pain that has been difficult to communicate with others. This may be our last show for a while despite it being our first. Doing music means a whole lot to me, but with such a fickle passion has come a particular cost.

Hopefully soon I can cross a threshold of new responsibility that will grant me a better living situation, and perhaps in time, allow me to make music in a way that won’t hurt myself or burden those around me.

Don’t know what I am trying to say with all of this or who will read it. Perhaps I was just giving an update on life. The EP I mentioned is available on bandcamp, spotify, apple music, and soundcloud if you’re at all interested.
