Tampa Bay Rays shouldn't even do a pride game if their players can just be openly homophobic

the whole point of the pride games is to show support of the community and an effort to make things better for us. if you keep employing ppl who tell us we're sinners or need a cure or whatever you automatically don't do any of those things. don't host a pride night if you employ people that make us feel unsafe. defeats the whole purpose. just donate the money but don't pretend you're making baseball welcoming.

not to mention that none of the mlb teams put any real effort into doing anything about homophobia in baseball. they can't even do the bare minimum, which is block homophobes from interacting on their accounts and actively targeting gay fans. none of them should do pride games until they show actual effort to support and protect us beyond donating a few percent of the proceeds from one game a year. there's a reason gay players still don't come out. mlb is not safe or welcoming for queer people.
