Honestly, unlike her brother seemed to be, Siren was indifferent to most of her peers from the isle. Sure, they all had shit parents. They all had a terrible childhood and were filled to the brim with trama and angst, but that didn’t necessarily connect them. As a matter of fact, it put them all in a place of competition for success. Not every VK could make something out of nothing, therefore it was up to the, more determined ones, to rise above the rest. Like herself.
However, she was in a good mood. Showing up to this thing with a friend took a lot of the standard pressure off and she could just… chill out. Which was, honestly, kinda fucking rare for her. So when she spotted a familiar face, she actually engaged. “Why so blue?” she asked, somewhat condescendingly as she gave Ranger a once over. “Did your boyfriend stand you up?” she prodded, clearly poking fun at him and Josh. @rangr-lefou
sure, everyone knew that josh and ranger were attached at the hip, practical brothers and always would be. he didn’t mind anymore when people jabbed at their friendship. “funny. but i knew he wasn’t coming. he doesn’t need to be at one of these. shit, if i wasn’t here to be with aurelie i would have never even thought of it. im just bored. it’s not like there is much to do but sit here and watch.” he said. ranger shifted. “im pretty tempted to just flip over a fucking food table to get one or two gasps and maybe start a fight.” he said with a smirk. it was ranger who always liked to stir up some fun for himself. “and who did you come with?”
