Life is very busy these days but I find a bit of comfort by working on my personal projects whenever I can. The news about Lee Pace playing Thranduil again made me want to continue working on my Mirkwood Royal Family fanzine so I decided to try and make some designs for Celeborn and Celebrian.

THE LONG-AWAITED WEBSITE!!!!

It's not perfect- Strawpage's design tools are... not great- but I did my best to bring you all a Tumblr-free transcription of all my lessons. This is probably the most labor-intensive thing I've done for this page (next to the character polls). Four months of blood, sweat, and tears... and now, she LIVES!!!!

Some Notes:

I created it with the intent of Desktop use, so Mobile might have some issues. If it's not working on your phone, try desktop.

Out of the multiple browsers tested (Firefox, Google, Edge, Brave, Safari), Firefox had some issues sporadically.

I'm still going to post lessons on here, first. This page is priority to me, and the website is more of an archive.

The fonts are normal past this opening page.

I will be adding a portion to send funds soon, if'n you are feeling kind and generous.

Hornet Silksong for the new DTYIS challenge by @creatingblackcharacters!! :^D

I loved doing this one I had so much fun!! I wanted to do the lovely bug lady justice, I hope y'all like it! I don't know too much about Hollow Knight, but I think it's very cute!!

To start, I had a few styles in mind, but I settled on two large braids styled like the horn shaping of her mask, with silver clips at the ends, and her hair is also white like her mask!

I gave her a deep and vibrant brown skintone and I like to think it shimmers like hornets and bees do!

I kept her outfit relatively the same, but I gave her some really cool knee-high matching boots!! I also tried to give her heels the needle-like shape her feet have in canon, idk how well it worked lol

Her eyes a midnight brown, and if you look closer at them, there is a bit of pattern I put there to resembles a hornets eyes!

I gave her freckles I love freckles and I think she looks so adorable with them 💛 :^DD

I give all my own bug ocs sharp teeth, so I did the same here, and also added a cute set of silver grills and also some earrings!

Gave her some lip gloss and while you can only tell by one visible nail! Her nails are painted 😌🫶

Hi! Lots of ups and downs lately but, on the brighter side, Yzma and I moved into our new place yesterday! We’re still waiting for the cat tree to arrive so she’s finding other ways to spy on our neighbors.

We are back working on commissions, prints and the webcomic!
