Turns out caffeine does wonders for the ADHD brain.

This is my first time trying Sashiko mending, and I’m actually really proud of how it turned out. I also learned a but of the history from a mentor, and it was initially used for sewing prayers/karma/intentions (idk what word to use) into clothes while mending them.

Needless to say.. there will be lots more of this. I have many holes in my pants (specifically this pair), but I think I will be more intentional with the patterns I use, and maybe once I have a better understanding of this, I will make my own pattern.

I am also going to try to use this style, or similar things on a skirt for my girlfriend, so maybe I’ll put a little bit of that on here.

Also-also, my brother is letting me use some of his fabric to add some pattern in the holes, so that’ll be awesome.
