As I am still sort of getting used to Vegas. And even though there will be many people celebrating, I would feel a bit silly if I went on my own.”

Backtracking a bit, Juliet began shaking her head, walking a bit closer to the girl to not make a scene. Plenty more people had gathered around the police cars parked in the streets, trying to snap a photo or simply get a glimpse of the crook getting put away. It wasn’t this girl’s fault Juliet hadn’t had her morning coffee yet. Dealing with morons this early in the morning required quite a bit of caffeine. “You’re fine, I’m sorry. We’re just getting the last of this paperwork hammered out so this guy can go to lock up. Nothing like dealing with all of this first thing in the morning,” Juliet replied with a quick grin.

“What....what did he do? if you don’t mind me asking.” Instead of walking away like she knew she should, Raquel still kept the conversation going. Her curiosity was getting the best of her. It was a rather slow day and she wasn’t in a rush.
