I know this has been said before, but I think its not only great but also super important that TADC was able to achieve the level of success its gotten not only as a piece of art, but also as an animated project from an indie studio. Now a days it's almost become a constant thing to hear about how animation in the west gets shafted hard by studio meddling or corporate bullshit, and the medium sometimes gets treated with absolute disdain from those same higher corporate power. But Glitch and Gooseworx didn't have that barrier to stop them, no one higher up telling them what they can or cannot do, no fear of the series suddenly getting cancelled, just a chance for someone to tell the story she wanted to tell and an indie studio that took a chance on it. And what resulted was not only a worldwide successful series that's beloved by millions, but a showcase that people with the heart and passion for animation can find success outside the mainstream corporate bubble. This is a big win for animation and I hope it inspires more Indie artists to take a chance on their own passion projects.
