Got a Headcanon for the Marshmallow Fashionista: Rarity is a pony who hates tacky holiday sweaters due to the fact that they look completely hideous and unfashionable.
{ Literally so much yes I’m not even gonna try and downplay this at ALL. she used to make them sometimes but like why have tacky when you could have fabulous? so she reinvented the tacky sweater. she put diamonds on one with a tree on.it hurt but fashion deserves a martyr }

Over exhaustion was a drastic understatement. From the bags under her eyes to the slouched posture. Anyone could see the orange pastel mare was not getting a wink of reasonable sleep. That argument was still eating her up inside. If she didn’t stop, Rainbow’s fear might not be too far off…

It wasn’t often that Rarity became the voice of reason to the group - especially to the dependable Applejack - but she could take the role well enough to (hopefully) pull her friends back into reason.
She herself was no stranger to the dangers of over-exerting yourself and the tell-tale signs were there on her friend’s face. She had no idea how to make the mare sleep or at least stop overworking herself and it was stressing her out almost as much as a bulk order of gowns did.
❝ Sleep for me, would you? Me and the girls - we can take over your work, just for a little while. I don’t want you to end up worse-off than you need to be over this. ❞

Rarity had been feeling vulnerable recently. Sure, she was a diva and a drama queen, but she also had moments where she really broke down and needed some comfort. She was nearing another one right now, and this compliment had come out of nowhere right when she needed it.She heard them. She heard all of them. Look at Rarity, so vain. So full of herself. She can’t be nice and pretty. That’s not possible!She began to shake, breathing in equally as shakily. Small sobs came from the mare, and finally… she broke. Shattered. She began to cry, nodding a little to acknowledge the stallion’s words. ❝ Thank you… ❞
