Rasala Magazine Online
Salaam, we wanted to give you a bit of an update regarding Rasala magazine. Because of the current financial climate advertising is becoming a real problem for us, so the decision has been made to release the first issue of Rasala magazine online only. We hope to have it available before the end of the month and it will be downloadable in the PDF format from our site. We will update you about how things are going in the next few days.
In the mean time we are still looking for advertisers who are interested in advertising in the online PDF version of the magazine, as well as for others who are interested in advertising in the second issue which if we get enough interested advertisers will also be available in physical print form. We hope that you download, read and enjoy Rasala magazine when it is released.
What is Rasala? In this video Rasala founder Nasim Ashraf talks about what Rasala Magazine is and what he hopes it will achieve. He also talkas about why he decided to start Rasala and how it will benefit the community.

Just uploaded this video showing what the first issue of Rasala will contain. Should be released in March 2012 if things go ok.

Welcome
Welcome to the Rasala magazine blog. Use this blog to check up on whats happening at Rasala. Rasala is a culmination of many years of work both through UK Education & Faith Foundation (UKEFF) and Pureii Media. After working both privately as business in the community and publically for the community we felt it was time that we created a platform thorugh which we could share our experiences and offer advice to others.
Rasala is a magazine that isn't necersarily for a single sect or group, its not about a single issue or even a single point of view and its not aimed at a single demography. Its about reflection and about voicing the thoughts and views of all our community. It is about facilitating unity in the community, this is the title of our first issue and our mission statement.
The magazine is and will always be free and will be open both for community contribution and for the community to shape based on its needs.
