Mediation for Jealousy

If you suffer from jealousy and practice regular mediation, you could practice taking some time to focus specifically on your jealousy.

In Thich Nhat Hanh style, try something like this:

Breathing in I notice my breath going in

Breathing out I notice my breath going out

Breathing in I resolve to work on my jealousy

Breathing out I release my need to compete

Breathing in I wish I were better

Breathing out I know I am perfect

Breathing in I think others are better than me

Breathing out, I know we are all equal

Breathing in I think I am better than others

Breathing out I know we are all equal

Breathing in I have addressed my jealousy

Breathing out I feel peace

Breathing in I notice my breath going in

Breathing out I notice by breath going out
