i've been playing paralives pretty much every day since it came out, and i'm honestly having the best time with it. what starts as "i'll play for an hour" somehow always turns into an entire evening of building, creating characters, and getting lost in the world.

i'm still learning all the features and mechanics, but that's part of the fun. every time i open the game, i discover something new or find another tool i want to experiment with.

i’ve been already spending a lot of time in paramaker, trying out different styles and learning how everything works. these two parafolks are the first ones i'm actually super happy with. they finally feel like my pixel people

Finally! 4 months later... she's completed. I don't even feel worthy of calling this a challenge because of how simple it is. I'll be playing it on the channel with you, it's heavily tailored to what I feel like playing in The Sims 4 right now. I hope you'll play it along with me 🤎

Silent Pines, 1998 - V.2

Special Credit: Silent Pines is heavily inspired by and uses a very similar style to the stunning @windbrook savefile by @folkling, the gorgeous portsim savefile by @florwal, and the amazing builds by @moonwoodmillz. Thank you all for your hard work, I take a lot of inspiration from you all.

Silent Pines is a base-game only save file inspired by Life is Strange with 3 major worlds, a whole new set of townies, and a complete mystery to solve.

I used S4Studio to rename all the worlds, and I've decorated all the neighbourhoods with T.O.O.L. As I said before, Silent Pines is completely base-game friendly, absolutely no packs or kits are used. There is some custom CC, mainly posters that add to the story. The CC is one package file and adds nothing other than some customisation to the story. It is not required.

For example the missing poster of Cleo Emerson, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances;

DISCLAIMER: Only Silent Pines (Willow Creek) has the mystery to solve; the other 2 worlds are just for playing in. Also, the 'Harris' household has been notoriously difficult to load into, for which I apologise. If you'd like to explore their house, please bring a sim to visit them <3

🏡 after thinking about it for the longest time, i finally started my own save file.

i’ve made a few attempts before, but nothing that really felt right… until now. seeing so many of my favorite creators share their worlds recently truly inspired me to create something that feels like mine.

this save draws inspiration from tv shows, movies, and books that i love, and i’m trying to bring a little bit of that magic into the builds. the first one is a cozy café, with the owner’s apartment right above it — there’s still a long way to go, but maybe you can already guess which tv show inspired it. 🍂🛠️☕️

i’m beginning in willow creek, using the beautiful shelves by @windbrook (new account @folkling) that i’ve adored for so long.
