An update in the fanfiction saga:

Ended up on the AO3 fanfic queue.

I’m calling out to the depths of the internet— I am looking for a dark fic that was removed years ago from fanfiction.net. It was an Adventures in Odyssey fanfic following the idea of Richard NOT jumping from the car in “Another Chance”. Rodney followed behind and watched as Richard was executed at the end of Trickle Lake by Jellyfish.

I can’t be the only one that remembers this. I cannot be the only one. Lord knows I can’t get back into the fanfiction archive on Town of Odyssey, so PLEASE if you have any leads lemme know lol.

Everyone in this crummy little town hates me.

I put on a face

I wave goodbye

I get on the bus

and in the window my mind paints faces

of all the good people who didn’t forgive.

In the window

in the passing trees and river

I paint them with the blurring colors.

The blueberry bushes with summer-green leaves

seem to me overalls and a button-up shirt.

Glasses, a wooden porch, the door cracked open,

an old man’s voice through clenched teeth

and a grudge held closer than a cup of hot coffee.

I look down.

The stark white-black-white of the pavement streaks

bring to mind an offer of forgiveness – a conditional offer –

a business offer dressed up in a black vest and a white shirt –

the guy never lightens up, says he’ll never be more than my acquaintance.

And he tries not to call me names

but he looks at me with suspicious eyes

like he knows I’m a thief.

I’m a thief,

but I remember the girl

who fills up my heart

like a page in the journalist’s notebook

with notes in the margins and upside-down.

And when I told her I was sorry she cried

and the ink stained all over.

She was scared, but so much braver than me –

she offered her forgiveness like a smile –

she waved goodbye and watched me leave.

Ok ok ok but like — some of the moments between Blackgaard and Richard.

gay? slightly homoerotic? But like, in an unhealthy manipulation kinda way? Thinking about “hurt people hurt people” and I’m just saying there might be something there.

This might be self-projection/trauma speaking. I’m also very sick currently. But I need someone to tell me if I’m out of my mind or if this is something that other people see

I am organizing all of my sketches over the years into one binder. I forget how much I love the RichardxJason ship. It lasts like a leaf in autumn. Richard doesn’t get to keep a lover. He doesn’t get that kind of happiness in life.

For anyone not following my Instagram account: I’m currently learning Blender in an attempt to animate the Blackgaard saga and reclaim AIO from AI.

Here’s the current progress. We have made donuts and a simple animation (shoutout to Blenderguru).

We will take this fandom back.

2, Richard is bi. That’s it that’s the bullet point

Odyssey Character headcanons (part one, because I have a ton)

- Philip Glossman knits (I can’t remember where this came from)

- Richard Maxwell writes poetry/journals + had long hair in highschool (I have my REASONS)

- Jason likes himself a good shot of whiskey and realistically would be the most likely to cuss up a storm in front of children accidentally

- Jules loves Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavigne, and Paramore and I will accept ZERO criticism on that

- Eugene and Katrina both took ice skating classes for couples and they got surprisingly good at it

- Almost every odyssey character has extensive trauma and I can go into heavy detail with most of them, because it’s a FACT

- Shakespeare is a 20-something, thin, sandy-blond-haired summer stock intern at Edwin’s theatre that just stuck around, I’m sorry I have always thought Shakespeare was younger and then I saw the original art of him and I was like WHAT
