...and that's how I feel about control

#it's only been a week but the more i look back on this project the more i love it

sometimes you spend an hour trying to find online the names of those two neighborhood kids who lived across the street from you when you were growing up who you got your first cat from and used to throw baseballs with and who had to move because their house foreclosed in 07 because you're bored and nostalgic and you want stalk them on facebook and then you find out that one of them died in a car accident three years ago.

i miss being a little kid in jackson heights i miss living in a six building apartment complex that were all connected by a skybridge and completely filled with dirty polacks in spite of being in the middle of a hugely central american neighborhood and all anybody ever did for fun was go to somebody else's Baptism or Communion party

#i went on google maps and started getting emotional

I feel like a second grader the way i will literally be looking up shit online like "volcano" and "prehistoric sharks"

i had to cold turkey stop watching Reels two weeks ago bc the amount of videos that i would see about "omg al_xa d_mie got ozempic buccal fat removal she looks so old and ugly now her face is too skinny so she looks old and ugly and old and she looks different and her face is thinner than in this picture of her at age 23 she's so ugly and old, people should stop getting plastic surgery that makes them look old and ugly" was doing radioactive levels of dysphoria to me as someone slavic who lost weighly slowly over the course of 6 years and entered my late 20s
