This Saturday, June 22, Copro Gallery in Santa Monica will debut the two-person show “Raw Kingdom” featuring new work from Rob Sato and Kris Chau. Aside from being close friends, the two artists find overlap in their watercolor painting styles.
“ … Highly acclaimed artist James Jean opened “Parallel Lives,” his second solo show in NYC at Tilton gallery. Opening to a large crowd … the show exhibited a menagerie of works including drawings, paintings and works that included 3-dimensional elements. The diversity of his works subtly echoes the title of the show, as Jean creates within a range of media while retaining a core aesthetic that is distinctly recognizable as his. The dreamy quality and narrative fairy-tale like works engage the viewers with their bold sizes, vivid, psychedelic color choices while still appearing intimate and familiar.”

Semi-Sphere
The points on the sphere are all the same distance from a fixed point. Also, the ratio of the distance of its points from two fixed points is constant. The first part is the usual definition of the sphere and determines it uniquely. The second part can be easily deduced and follows a similar result of Apollonius of Pergafor the circle. This second part also holds for the plane.
