Finally!! The date AND the venue are final.

Met with their AE, Amelia, and I know she did not screw our date on purpose. Maybe it wasn't really for us and it wasn't really our day.

I have a positive feeling about the preps but Jhing is pressure already because of the finances.

Actually, I feel annoyed that my dad are going to invite his friends and we have to sacrifice ours. Although he's paying for them, I wish he could've just paid for those that we really wanted to attend.

INFORMATION BLACKOUT STARTS NOW. I don't want to consult anyone else anymore except Jhing. It's already annoying.

I also need to fix my schedule already. There must be a specific time of the day that I will sit down and prepare for the wedding. There are still a whole lot of decisions to make. but so far the major components are final:

We should finalize our guest list so we can prepare for the development of our Save-The-Date and invitation design.

Also, I should already tell Patria to start making designs for our wedding tat.

Lastly, I HAVE TO SIT DOWN AND PUT TOGETHER MY WEDDING MOOD BOARD that I have to send Embe so he can start working on my dress, and consult with him how much if I get my bridesmaid dresses from him, too.

we paid the P10k reservation fee already and I'm so excited to work with him.

He's so nice and very creative and as we were sharing our plans, he was already giving suggestions spontaneously. sobrang daldal nya, inabot na kami ng gabi!!

His photo style is very close to cherryblocks/chestknots and his video is "tecson"-worthy. He has his own equipment and he gave his side of the story on the negative feedback I dug up on female network.

All for a wonderful price of P60k only!! no more out of town fee! with free photobooth for 3 hours!! i'm going to get his wife as my wedding coordinator so they can stitch all the major elements together. and dealing with them would be easier. :)

I'm just not trying to dwell on the expenses but I have a feeling that we're gonna go over our budget.

i don't want to look at another wedding blog anymore

i have almost completed all that i want. i just need to finalize my booking to confirm them. i have already decided which ones i'm going to DIY.

whatever i need other than the ones i will accomplish this year, will be my problem next year, like lights and sounds and entertainment.

looking at wedding blogs don't inspire me. because it shows what i want to be done and i feel sad that it's been done already.

i'm not going to do a theme anymore. my theme? US. THIS IS US. THIS IS JHING AND CESKA. What I will put out there, and what I will use to design and decorate the whole place will be us, will be part of us, will be our personalities.

It may clash. It may not seem to go together but we'll do everything we can to stitch it all up. because that is who we are. we are two different persons, coming from two different backgrounds but despite all that, we love each other and we are making this relationship work.

Sorry to all those who disagree, but I cannot please everybody. at the end of the day, the wedding is about our union, and not about you nor anyone else. at the end of the day, love conquers all.

Wedding Preps DAY 1

So exciting! It's fun. It's PANIC TIME.

Because of our target months, November and December, we're already running out of dates for next year at our top choice church. IT'S ONE YEAR FROM NOW, PEOPLE!! WHAT'S THE RUSH! WE'RE NOT READY BE

CAUSE WE DON'T HAVE OUR REQUIREMENTS YET!

We were also hoping to visit one of the venues in our list but Papa and the sibs were done swimming so we have to hurry back to Valle Verde to fetch them before someone heats up.

Although we were able to check 2 churches today and one reception venue. For the 1st church and venue, it was all bare and would be challenging, logistics-wise but mama and I were willing to go for it. For the 2nd church, it was rustic, big and also circular but far and we can only choose from 2 dates, provided no one reserves any

by next week.So many things to do...and even with a year of preparation ahead of us...we feel like we're running out of time.

First things first. I want to get a church and venue already so we can nitpick on the details. I have a tentative guest list posted here but Jhing has to cross-check his guests, too.

EXCITING EXCITING. Can I just prepare for this instead of going back to work, tomorrow? but work will pay for my wedding so I must work harder. I also have to apply for a personal loan, and for an auto loan.

Tomorrow...I will buy a wedding planner.
