My name is Dewayne this blog is almost entirely made up of my snake hunting pictures, or someone else's snake hunting picture for an occasional reblog. I am from the mountains of southeastern Kentucky so i almost solely catch timber rattlesnakes and northern copperheads.

Kingsley’s owner got a call from his coworker describing a “chicken snake” with a speckled banded pattern on her porch. She was fine with it being there, but thought my friend and I would like to see it. So we drove over there, and my friend takes one look at it and identifies it as a pit viper!...

Found this large black Timber Rattlesnake coiled in the grass at the back edge of a large flat rock about 10 feet off the road.
