Ok so...I love my family but I CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK TO HOGWARTS
I'm thinking about becoming an animagus. I have several animals in mind, but I cannot decide, which one is the best. And honestly most of them have serious cons.
Let's see:
1) a chicken pros: unassuming and funny, could lay my own eggs (gross but at the same time genious imho) cons: horny cocks, danger of becoming a soup ingredience
2) a swift pros: can sleep and fly at the same time!!, FLYING!!, totally common bird in my area, incredibly beautiful cons: would I survive winter if I didn't fly to the south?
3) a cat pros: they like their space and freedom, so basically noone would bother me, free petting and head scratching from people, cuddles, could scratch people without consequences cons: somebody would probably attempt to adopt me
4) a dragon pros: EVERYTHING SERIOUSLY cons: most likely I would cause chaos everywhere and get trapped or killed
5) kiwi bird pros: cute cons: not local
6) lynx pros: PAWWWSS, convenient for forest walks, just a big cat really cons: in more populated areas very conspicuous
---well when I look at it, it seems like I should get myself a pet xD
If anyone wants to help me to pick an animal, please write to the comments :)
Summer fun with Merry and Pippin! 🏖🌴
love how sometimes i’m like “oh, i should put this somewhere safe so i don’t lose it and know exactly where to find it later!” and about a month later i’m standing in my ransacked room trying to get into past me’s mindset like some kinda amateur historian on one of those history channel treasure hunting shows trying to get into the mind of a nineteenth century pirate to figure out where they hid some possibly nonexistent apocryphal loot
having memory problems is like being an archaeologist of your own life and it isn’t nearly as exciting as it sounds
Hi! This is awkward, but I'd like to advertise my very small business!
Hello there; the title really says it all.
My name is Roberta and I crochet; I especially enjoy making amigurumis - which you can see here -, but I also dabble in blankets, blankets for newborns, beanies, scarves and bags (sneak peek for one of my very first ones in this post!).
I try my best at making things you or a loved one can truly cherish, I genuinely care about the things I make and I'm always trying to improve.
I work on commission, so I can work with you on what you want and customize it with different colors, different materials, little embroidered words. I try to keep my prices accessible, with shipping too as much as it's within my power.
Long story short: if you ever want a crocheted item, and you think I could make you something you'd like, maybe consider shooting me a DM for some info! You can find me on Instagram as robiambros, on Facebook as AmbrosCrochet, via email at [email protected], or even here via DM.
Silene, the wandering blacksmith
I apparently can't get stuff done in time so have day 5 on day 6 hah @tolkienocweek
Silene grew up on the outskirts of the Shire, and she found interest in mending and creating metal objects. She then travelled west to the mountains where she stayed with the dwarves for 5 years. Silene then travelled around, fixing and mending anything she could.
When she was older she settled down around the place of her birth, where she created a workshop in which to do her metalwork.
From time to time she would still travel, even as far as the old witch king realm of Arnor.
Okay that's it! I'll try to get day 6 out later today although I'm stuck for ideas.. maybe I'll just do the blue wizards but we'll see.
Dear internet wizards and muggles,
school year is still a lifetime away and most of my wizard friends insist on sending me owls instead of using muggle means to keep up. To be honest, with my inability to answer messages quickly like a normal person, sending letters is kinda amazing excuse for me taking ages to even open the message.
Nevertheless I MISS THEM. One would thought that corona cannot stop wizard schooling (I mean the whole ‘Voldemort and fucking deatheaters are literally IN Hogwarts but damn, attend your classes!’ thing), but alas we were bound at home. It was kinda funny though, because after few weeks of owl schooling (facepalm) school had to swap to sending homeworks via floo network, because muggles noticed the increased amount of owls (Ministry blamed it on deserted cities and fauna venturing to the areas suddenly without people). We missed whole year of History with Binns because he refused to teach us at home (YAY!!) but I thoroughly enjoyed seing teachers heads pop out inside our tiled stove (like, not everyone has a fireplace! hello?!).
I had to attend some of the muggle classes too, because my parents want me to have both muggle and wizard education. So I FINALY have some time for myself and time to relax before going back to (hopefully) normal school year.
This newbound freedom resulted in me trying to sew myself a whole hobbit wardrobe xD Little ambitious project, but nevermind. I’m gonna keep you posted on my DIY adventures in the future. For now, at least enjoy my choice of totally beautiful fabric (:
See you next time bowtruckles! Love, M
