I started trying to figure out a fun Marius design, but it quickly devolved into just messy-sketching various pics of Kofi in costume. ANYway, I haven't decided if I want to design Marius as a fish-based alien or a fungus-based alien. I'll probably do both eventually, but just for kicks and giggles I wanna put out a poll and see if anybody wants to weigh in.

In case my handwriting is unclear and/or you just don't want to zoom in to read it off the image:

FISH CREETCHUR

Fun fins and scales

Mech hand would be different/more hand-shaped than his more aquatic-looking organic hand

Marius can canonically grow (at least facial) hair, so he wouldn't be 100% fishy

Weirdly colorful/textured

Kofi Young described Marius as having a "symbiotic relationship" with his mechanism, which is visible as his arm but also extends further inside his body. Reminds me of a fungal growth

sHApe?? what shape is a fungus person? WHO KNOWS :D probably not super weird if i go with this design, but there is artistic potential

Because I can't seem to get anything done unless I have oodles of things to do - I want to design some more characters. Namely, Redwall characters! (there's only a couple of books I've yet to read, the last 3 or so).

But I don't have any strong feelings on who to design, so I'm looking to *you* to help pick some characters for me!

Daiya fanfic idea

Got too many daiya fanfic idea i wanna work on, and can’t seem to settle on what I should work on once i am done with my current wip (only have a bit over one chapter to write).

This is more of an interest check that actually picking one for me, but someone please help me pick lol (can’t guarantee the winner will be it what I work on):

1) Sawamura centric (sprinkled preslahs misawa): Sawamura wakes up the size of a doll one morning and no one knows how to turn him back. Cue his daily life now struggling being Minisawa and not being able to play the baseball he loves [short multi-chapter]

2) A/B/O misawa: starting plot inspired by a dj. Misawa waking up following a night where Miyuki slept with Sawamura who had suddenly started his heat and claimed him somewhere in that night. Cue instant miscommunication between them when Sawamura think Miyuki regrets claiming him and he fakes it not being a big deal and he’d prefer someone else anyway™. Cue Sawamura feeling down because he tought he and Miyuki might like each other; meanwhile Miyuki is trying to court the densest man alive. Miscommunication angst with a happy ending. [longer multi-chapter]

3) Miyuki centric (Ambiguously preslash-ish misawa): Pro player Miyuki going missing for a few days after one of his obsessive fan manages to take him away after a game. Wakes up in some abandoned school gym, chained so he can’t run away and having to deal with a strange fan who calls himself Ei. Sawamura never went to Seido AU [short multi-chapter]

4) Sawamura centric (hint of misawa): Sawamura comes back in time to a time between being scouted by Rei and starting Seido. He decides that with this chance and the experience he now has, he wants to bring the original third years to koshien. [longer multi-chapter (?)]

5) A/B/O Miyuki and [redacted] pov centric (misawa): college player Miyuki and Sawamura who are both very popular players on the team with even fans at school. Cue Sawamura suddenly having issue with someone messing with his things and even scenting his stuff. Then one morning he’s gone and no one can reach him. Cue Miyuki panicking and looking for the suspect stalker he has in mind. [short multi-chapter]

6) Misawa: Socmed AU where they meet for the first time at Waseda university. Sawamura used to be the ace in Nagano, but is now at Waseda seemingly without planning on joining the team. His jew roommate and Miyuki encourage him to join. Slow burn + Sawamura never went to Seido AU. [longer multi-chapter]
