A nod from him. Daemon was originally tipped off that something was off when every time he was supposed to met with Willem that something popped up. He was curious what his girls were up to.
So he'd found something to do at least until dinner. He looked up and was instantly on edge seeing the boys file into the room. It had to be something considering that he knew that they didn't get along with each other.
"All of you are in agreement?" A raised eyebrow. That was even more surprising to him then anything. Not even Luke speaking first, but he couldn't be more surprised at Jace's next sentence.
"Did you get Baela, Rhaena, and Joffrey in on this little scheme as well?" He asked. Not that his girls would let anything or anyone tell them what to do, and Joffrey was still little enough he'd want what his brothers did.
"And why exactly shouldn't they get married?" He asked. "This must be very interesting." He move to sit in a chair.
Jace and Luke, looked a bit timid at the mention of involving their siblings in their scheme. The twins definitely took more convincing, especially from Baela who nearly knocked their heads together, but Joffery was easily swayed at the promise of giving their share of cake to him after supper. Aegon and Aemond only joined after overhearing the boys' distaste for Willem, and that's when they began plotting.
"He's not good for her. Mother said he proposed to her when he was Luke's age, he's just chasing after Valyrian blood," Jace explained.
Luke nodded in agreement, "We know nothing about Willem. She shouldn't marry him and be shipped off to the Riverlands. She should be where her family is."
"He's an outsider from a small house, with only ravens and a dead tree to his name, wanting a wife that can give him more," Aegon added on.
Aemond was his usual, stoic self, but even he joined in. "The Blackwoods are outsiders, even in the Riverlands, with their old gods and strange beliefs. Marrying Myella would grant them power from the crown against their rival House Bracken. And, in time if Myella were to have an heir with him, a dragon."
"How do you know these things?"
Aemond nearly rolled his one eye at his brother's cluelessness, "It might come to mind, brother, that all of Maester Orwyle's 'boring lectures' would do you some good."
