Valentine’s Day with Julian…

Roses. Mouth-corner kisses. He wears that cologne of his you like.. maybe even too much of it. Declarations of love every chance he gets. Julian takes a glove off when you guys hold hands to make sure it’s skin-to-skin. Chocolate covered berries. A potion Mazelinka and Asra helped him make that makes every food you have that day taste like the best meal in the world. Sight-seeing. Candle-light. Forehead kisses every two minutes. His arm never leaves your waist. Affection, affection, affection. Blushing, blushing, blushing. He ‘forgets’ to put his eyepatch on so you can see every ounce of love in his eyes all day. ‘My love,’ ‘My dear,’ ‘My darling.’ His heart swells every time he looks at you because he loves seeing you so happy, especially at his hand. Then, after an evening of a homemade meal and stargazing, he spends the night at your hand, howling your name until the sun breaches the hills.

This might have been obvious and maybe I was oblivious, but after reading Portia’s route several times, I’m wondering… Do you think Auntie Tasya is the one who caused the storm that shipwrecked (and ultimately orphaned) Portia and Julian all those years ago? She made the storm that is destroying Vesuvia…

Yes and no?

Because Julian said she was different than before and that makes me wonder if someone has been using her identity instead, but when Portia and MC go to Volta's palace she plays with her things and pretends she's part of royalty and her throne was taken away from her, so maybe that was actually Tasya's story? She wanted her brother's throne and ship and since he refused to sell that to her she tried to kill them all?

Idk I'm so confused.

But if the second theory is true then they maybe are giving us hints of what would happen in the reverse ending. Portia turning into Tasya and killing Julian out of envy, because she wanted to study and go on adventures and having her voice be heard, yet she always felt she was in his shadow. She would become Vesuvia's and the magic realm's ruler, kinda like ((spoiler alert))
