It has been so long since I posted here I am having trouble deciding between the colour and BW versions. The world out there is going right to hell. Here, the government is saying we are heroes and saving the country by staying at home. Pappa has been threatening my butt of late, and like a storm on the horizon I know sooner or later it will rain down mercilessly. And so I post this older photo of me getting into kneeling position on his big chair while he was taking off his belt, to remind me of that feeling, and as a warning to all you other boys out there that there is a hard rain gonna fall one day! But not, quite, yet!!

So it is worth noting that even though I have little brothers and I consider myself far more mature and above the need to sit on Pappa’s knee and have him reasure me and all that mush, and that I can take my own baths and feed myself... Pappa still sometimes reminds me that I am his boy, gives me hugs and pulls my ears (nicely!), tells me how wonderful I am and a whole load of applesauce and when I have finally had enough of the mush or feel better again for whatever reason - i do feel like i am 8 or so and walk around thinking i am such a sterling lad! That usually lasts until I get in trouble, but I can see why my little brothers are such suckers for that stuff even if I would never admit it to them!
