Wow have I been neglecting things here! I’m sorry bout that, I’ve been having motivation for a different muse lately thus Mal here has kinda fallen onto the back burner. But I shall try to get at least a couple things done here either later today or tomorrow for sure!

Sorry bout the apparent poof lately, my motivation to write has been a bit low lately but I shall try and get to replies either here in a bit or the next time I be on the computer! “Hey Jane.” Mal chirps in her trying-hard-to-be-sweet tone as she leaned her shoulder against the locker just beside where the other fae was. “Soooo I was just wondering if you managed to talk with your mom yet, you know about the whole wand thing?” It was a long shot to try and rely on a make-over as an excuse to get the wand, and Mal realized that, but it was worth a shot at the very least until they could find a better way to go about it. “Any chance we’ll be able to use it soon? I mean you did still want that new nose after all, right?”

      The hooded figure glanced down at Mal, fondness softening her normally fierce countenance. “Please, just Snow will do.” She gracefully lowered herself next to the fae child and studied her. Snow understood that it was more than difficult for her and the other VKs to adjust, and small wonder when those who were considered “good” had a definition of standard that was so different from their own. In a way, Snow herself had been living her own exile on Auradon. She wasn’t an innocent princess; she wasn’t even fully human. She was just a terrifying thing that was tolerated due to her friendship with Queen Belle.

Yes, she knew what it was like to be judged unfairly, so she wanted to prevent anyone else from experiencing that.

“I actually came to see you,” she added after a moment’s pause. “Just to see how you were getting along. Offer any help, if I could.” Snow nonchalantly glanced over at the tome resting on Mal’s lap, and her smile widened.

“Maybe offer a few spell recommendations?”

Despite everything, she was still Grimhilde’s eldest child, for better or for worse.

She was here to see...her? The momentary surprise on Mal’s face wasn’t hidden all that well but it faded quickly enough into a look of a mix of suspicion and slightly confusion from the explanation given along with the offer of spells. “You know magic? I would think that considering your step-mother and all, that would be something you’d avoid.” Mal notes with a simple shrug before once more opening up her spellbook. No reason to keep it hidden now if it’s already been spotted.

Though, thinking on it a bit more, Mal had heard the rumors. Ones which say that Snow herself wasn’t even of this world. And Mal was getting a sense of something...different about the royal. But she wouldn’t comment on it...just yet anyway. “What’ve you got?” She asks after a moment.

It had been at least a month since the coronation and the decision of the VKs to be good. But...just like day one in Auradon it was a big adjustment. One which Mal often questioned if she was even going to be able to fully adjust to. This thought crossing into her mind as she boredly flipped through her spellbook wondering if she might be able to get away with casting anything from it. But it is quickly snapped shut and tucked away as a shadow fell over her. Mal turned a bit from her spot upon the bench to see just who’s shadow it had been. “Snow White?” She mused a brow raising a bit in curiosity. “If you’re looking for Evie, I’m pretty sure she’s still working on making another one of her creams in our room.”

Mal was often dragged into being a living mannequin for Evie from time to time. Mainly just so Evie could touch up a design a bit, hem up a skirt, or something of the like. Some days the half-fae would just sigh and go along with it, other days she would complain. This was one of the latter days, if only because this particular one had already taken nearly an hour longer then predicted. “Evie, the dress is fine. Can you please just finish up already?” Mal’s words came out a bit snippier then she’d meant but she knew her friend would know she didn’t mean to be.
