I am getting evicted from my home at the end of December. I know that's not a really... HUGE problem I guess, its solvable somehow, thats what I mean, but we're also getting fined with about 16.000usd for not fulfilling our contract side.

Back in 2023 my partner decided to buy a house so we could live together. I didnt have anywhere to go, I had lost my job recently and didnt have really a place to live in. I was about to live in the streets for the second time that year, so I thought that it would be wonderful to live somewhere and also with him
we signed a "purchase-sale" contract (its common in Chile, a "contrato de compra-venta" in which you rent for a while and buy it after that time passes) in which we compromised in buying the house after a year of renting it. The cost of the house was about 167.000 usd or 150.000.000 chilean pesos u.u
I didnt really hear about the price after like 2 months living there xd
In that same contract, it stipulated that if we did not fulfill our side, we would be fined with 10% of the price of the house. Which's insane.
Initially, my partner didnt think it was a bad idea and I really didnt speak up much but... he lost his job a little time later and I wasnt getting any jobs either so.. we negotiated with the landlord if we could instead rent it. She agreed at the time.
Supposedly, she told us she would come to us to cancel that contract, but she never came.
15 days ago, she told us we needed to go. She gave us an eviction notice and told us she would be getting a lawyer to check the state of the house and the contract.
Now we.. we dont really know what to do. We're searching for places to live in but are also carrying the dread of that fine, that's on its way to us.
So.. We want to be ready for when we'll have to pay u.u we're selling stuff, Im making as many commissions as I can and also opened ko-fi donations ;w;
So uhh.. it would really help if you could share this to see if there's anyone who'd like to help us with a commission or something (even better if you could donate, but I know life's hard for everyone so.. dont force yourself ^^)
