How am I the bad guy here? Eh? They’ve barely been together two minutes and she’s already trapped him. She is Branning market trash and she’s turning my little boy against me. Vinny, he could do so much better. We both know that Vinny has been your little boy for far too long. He just stood up for the mother of his baby… I know that deep down you’re scared to lose him, but you’ve raised a young man who’s going to be a really, really good dad. Yeah, you might think that Penny’s not good enough for him, but… honestly, who is? You know, this child that we want to bring into our lives, whoever they might be and whenever that might be… they need to be placed in a family that’s united, and if we’re not united then the social workers are going to see that and place them with someone else…    ♡

Last week's Eastenders, featuring Eve stonewalling a rando, Jack being suspiciously neighbourly, and Eve trying to prevent Suki from scratching Penny's eyes out 😋.

So, for the unitiated: Jack's daughter Penny is in a relationship with Suki's son, Vinny. Why is that a big deal? Coz he's knocked her up. And they've only been together for 5 minutes. They've decided they want to have the baby and try to make a go of things. Jack invited Sukeve round to hash out how they're gonna help their kids navigate stuff (Penny's in a wheelchair, and Vinny is Vinny 😋). Of course Vinny hadn't actually told Suki about the pregnancy yet so...yeah 😬.

And now Suki's on the warpath, and it's Eve's turn to be the grownup in the room.
