Previously, I’d only seen the first two panels and assumed it was the complete comic.
This version is much better.
omg it’s so much better with the conclusion
“The systemic barrier has been removed.”
I had just finished up my interview with your dad. We were finalizing my working times and we went out to the kitchen to meet your mom. That’s when you walked in. At the moment, I didn’t know you were their son. Just some boy who happened to work there. But I saw you and my heart started beating fast, like I was just given a present but I couldn’t open it yet. And then I left. I started working that week and would see you come in and out of the store. You would never stay for a while, just to pick up deliveries. But every time you were in there, I took a peek at you. Looking at you, until you would turn my way, and I’d look back down at what I was doing. Every time we ended up alone in the kitchen, I really didn’t know what to do. I’d stay quiet. You’d stay quiet. We never said a word to each other the entire time I worked there. There were so many times I wanted to introduce myself, even though you already knew my name by then. I wanted to say hi or bye, but nothing ever came out. Your mom even asked me once, what kind of guys I was into, while you were in the store. I blushed and said, “I like brunettes”, hoping you’d hear me as you were logging deliveries into the computer. A month and a half after I began, I switched jobs. I said my goodbyes to your parents and walked out the door. I got into my car, opened Tinder on my phone, and there you were.
I don’t understand how I can know so little about love and how it works. How I can be so bad at it when it’s all I’ve ever wanted. All I’ve ever known is about leaving or being left.

I love you but I don’t know what to do.
