Caine regressing and being allowed to fuss. Allowed to have tantrums, to throw himself on the floor and hitting and kicking it. To cry and wail till he's nothing but big wet tears and a raspy voice. To make grabby hands when he's tired himself out, to be picked up and cradled until he's rocked to sleep. Allowed to have space made for emotions bigger than his tiny mind and body, and allowed to be loved and cared for still.

sometimes the consumerism in age regression communities makes me stress out! When I was an actual little we were poor… I couldn’t get a jellycat stuffie or an American girl doll, or hundreds of different personalized pacis and gear. Me being small was just me blowing homemade bubbles, drawing with chalk, making mud pies, coloring, and watching cheap cable! Being little is looking at cool bugs, making arts out of construction paper, homemade playdoh, or just resting and doing nothing at all.

I guess what I’m trying to say is- you don’t have to buy a bunch of things to “be an age regressor” or to regress. Nah, you just need yourself, your imagination, and a lil magic and heart. You can be little without anything!!!

I absolutely LOVE drawing regression as a state of mind and not just a visual thing. As someone who regresses, I don’t usually get to wear pretty clothes or a paci for sensory issues and mainly not really feeling comfortable making use of them all the time. Sometimes it’s just me and a stuffy watching Minecraft horror or unboxing videos.

The thing is, you don’t have to look regressed to be regressed. Doesn’t mean you deserve less love ❤️
