A Young Black Disabled Female Addicted to Retail

Being a now 23 year old in the fashion industry people ask me why I chose the career I did, the simplest answer I can give is this "when you experience problems you are proactive about creating a solution obstacles allowed me to think outside the box". The clothes don't fit so make them your own. If can't find a job create one. The industry is constantly changing therefore you have option to cultivate something that has never been done. Passion is not something that is taught.When you are passionate in everything you do it shows in the choices you make daily I chose to use clothing as my outlet.No matter how big or small your role is you impact someone whether you know it or not.Your ability depends on accountability of personal choices.

Kehlani expected to kill the Charts once again

Kehlani Parrish dropped her new album today Sweet Sexy Savage has been nonstop hits so far. Every song has been relatable and heart driven.Khelani and I have mutual friends so I am happy to see one of my peers winning and finally enjoying where she is creatively.Many of the songs came from a place of healing and self-awareness . 2017 Pulls no Punches

5 days in to the new year and people are taking the"L" left and right.Soulja boy wasn’t that much of a solider if you ask me.Soulja and Chris Brown got into a Twitter beef over Karrauche Tran Soujah commented on Trans vacation pictures Chris Brown not pleased words were exchanged Brown was accused of using cocaine Souljah was accused of being a sell out artist .A person who becomes successful and does not remember to be humble.Everything came to a climax when Brown’s daughter was mentioned in terms of questionable parenting skills. After that argument Souljah tried to claim Compton CA and miserably failed as a result he was jumped by members of that neighborhood.Compton is infamous for crimes at risk youth population and majority low income housing areas At the end of the squabble Souljah apologized for his actions However Chris Brown and Souljah Boy will face each other in the boxing ring to settle their differences for a charity of the winners choice. The fight is now scheduled to take place in Dubai it is sure to be a Star studded event Several different cable service providers have crashed in with pay per view ratings expecting sky rocket. May the best man win.

LA Fashion Week 2016

Although I could not be physically in LA for fashion week my fellow Youtuber  Lauren Spencer of Sitting Pretty was my eyes and ears. LA 2016 Begraniz Couture runway show was accessible from start to finish.Every element was inclusive. The show itself highlighted education of fashion among the disability community.Fashion brings all indivduals together no matter what background. A huge thank you is due to Stephanie Thomas and all of the cur8ble representatives.

  Pieces had several features  involving velcrow,  hidden snaps made it functional apparel. the focal point was color blocking in neutral and pastel shades .Russian colors focus on muted tones reflected in northern European culture.The line was very structured yet detailed The pops of bright hues gave energy to the apparel the models were just as vibrant

2016 VMA’s or Bey Day

The 2016 Video Music Awards were A Night to remember artists like Rihanna Nicki Minaj Ariana Grande Kanye West all came out to enjoy music's biggest night. Queen Bey stole the show by almost a full concert during the show.  BEY went  off early she hoped to spill all the lemonade but not on her CHANEL.Blue Ivy’s dress was worth college tuition.Mrs.Carter took home a team of Moon men.Along with the iconic David Bowie  Rihanna was honored with the most prestigious biggest award of the night.. She gave us a performance to remember honestly I fell asleep after Beyoncé because nothing else will be compared to her performance what's your favorite Britney Spears took the L and it was not for being a legend. Alicia keys as a presenter was heavenly. Future had me turnt but I still could not understand him or Designerr somebody please translate.  Nicki Minaj sang on the red carpet with a cobalt blue dress her boyfriend Meek Mill embraced the “Your Love” singer with love and affection .Minaj opened the show with Ariana Sean Diddy Combs announced His Bad Boy reunion tour at the top of the hour. Rihanna gave us a review on her incredible career. DNCE was best new artist. Fifth Harmony blessed us with the song of the summer. They also snagged best collaboration with the talented Ty $ign who also performed Bacon with Nick Jonas Drake introduced RiRi only to be shot down hurt by  his ultimate celebrity crush no one will ever know why she curved him. Pinterest will have my best and worst dressed of the night! Let me know what I missed was it worth being late for school or work?

Harper's Radar was created in association with The S.M.I.I.L.E. Movement (SMIILE ), a nonprofit organization whose acronym stands for "Students Making Impacts in Lives Everywhere." Through fun, diverse forms of community outreach, SMIILE works to stimulate the aspirations of today's younger generation while improving the quality of life for underserved populations. In other words, we aim to set a cool, Christ-like example for this generation through charitable, humanitarian efforts. The purpose of The S.M.I.I.L.E.
