The Astelides. The Dornafahli.
These are the two religions that rule and divide the world, each cloaked in their own brand of “righteousness.”
Gerard Bydeford has seen the brutal acts committed in the names of their gods firsthand.
A young would-be knight, he resolves to forge a third path—even if it means bearing the title of blasphemer for the rest of his life—and show the world what true righteousness really means.
The world is always asking us to choose between two sides.
──But where does a heart belong if it cannot stand with either?

First of all, thank you to everyone who supported it in the Young Magazine US Reader Poll and helped make this serialization possible!
(And thank you so much for all the bookmarks and the kind comments you've already left! 🥹💙)
The English translation has been updated since the original one-shot!
I loved the previous version, but this new translation captures the heart of the story even more deeply.
We've also added several newly drawn pages for the serialization.
So even if you've already read the original one-shot, I hope you'll come back and enjoy the story again.
This time… there's more waiting for you. ⚔️💙
My heartfelt thanks to Dawson Chen for the translation, and to the entire English localization team for bringing this story to readers around the world, beyond the barriers of language!

The Young Magazine US popularity vote that began in August has finally come to an end.
I truly want to thank you all for the incredible support!
My work was fortunate enough to stay in the TOP 5 ever since the very first day—
and I believe it was you, the Tumblr community, who first lifted it to that spot.
So really, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The results will be announced on November 18!
I don’t know them yet, but no matter how it turns out,
I’ll be happy if we can welcome that day together with smiles.♡
And I hope we’ll meet again in the form of a series!
I just spent altogether too long reading through one of your comics, and I'm utterly infatuated at how well you acheieved the tension and trust and motives in the short story. I'll be reading closely from here on out!!!

I just saw Princess Mononoke in IMAX today, and it brought back so many memories...
This movie has always been special to me—especially because it introduced me to Hansen’s disease.
Honestly, I thought it was made up at first, so realizing it was real really hit me hard. I still remember crying at the meaning of salvation in the climax.
Later on, when I learned about Baldwin IV, I felt a strange sense of fate, like I was encountering destiny all over again.
My own manga, The Knight of Blasphemy, is fictional, but just like Princess Mononoke, I’ve woven a small wish to save him into it.
Everyone has both good and evil inside, and we can only live by clashing and coexisting with each other. True justice doesn’t really exist.
But Princess Mononoke taught my younger self that simply being alive is something truly beautiful.
This film has always had deep roots in my heart. I’m genuinely happy I got to see it again.
