Miri eyed the woman for a long moment then smiled and sat down. “I suppose it is.” She blew on her cup of tea before taking a sip. “Surely you don’t spend many meals alone.”
Rayne watched with a soft smile as the women joined her. “More then I would like to admit.” slipped from her lips with a chuckle. “I’m Rayne, welcome to my table.” was added with a little wave of her hand.

Perhaps inviting a stranger over to his home was the the best idea, especially considering Antioch seemed to be a hotbed for supernaturals. But Roman was relatively unfazed by the idea. If Rayne wanted more from him than just his company she’d find him very unsatisfying. He had little to fear from vampires or succubi for that reason. Of course that wouldn’t stop anyone from trying to rip him apart either, but it wasn’t like he didn’t have enough tricks up his sleeve to defend himself. Regardless, Rayne didn’t seem the type to look for a fight. Roman considered himself an excellent judge of character. So he opened a bottle of wine and patiently waited for the knock on his door.
In the weeks that Rayne had called Antioch her home she’d met a hand full of very interesting people. Honestly the whole damn town seemed to buzz with interesting people. She still wasn’t completely sure what the hell she’d gotten herself in to. But she did know that a nice evening out would do her some good. She just had to remember to keep her self in check. The last thing she needed was to rack up a body count in this place. Sighing she easily made her way to Roman’s. One of the interesting people she’d met. He seemed normal enough, handsome and a doctor. Really how could she go wrong with that. Even if he didn’t seem to play in to her usual game, he was still entertaining to speak to. Tugging at the hem of her dress she made sure she looked her best before firmly knocking on the door. It wasn’t long before she was greeted with the man’s green eyes. “Hello Handsome” she greeted with a smile.

Rayne could have guessed that suggestive text about seeing were things led would end in dinner. She’d even guessed it would end at either one of their places. What she hadn’t been expecting was talking all fucking night. Talking was never her strong point when men were involved. No she talked with her body, every night closed out with a gleeful roll in the sheets.
This night was full of surprises. Chewing at her lip the brunette looked down at the man that slumbered in her lap. Tilting her head her fingers lightly combed through his hair. She had no idea what the hell it was about this town. But one moment she was practically foaming at the mouth to get someone in bed. Then she was bitching about her shitty childhood to some guys she barely knew.
Sighing she shook her head, her fingers lightly tracing the line of his jaw. Stilling when she felt him stir a little. “I sure didn’t expect I’d lull you to sleep with words..” she offered quietly as teasing tone lace around each one. “I think you might be prettier when you’re sleeping,” was added with a wide grin when her brown eyes were met with the green of Roman’s.

Sami let out a dry laugh at her comment. Not really bother to acknowledge it in any other fashion. The young woman reminded him of himself from years back. When this was all this was still exciting. “You’re still new to this.”
“I have to say that is the first time I’ve heard that statement.. I’m usually far from new to things.” she let out a little sigh as she shifted in her place. “So oh wise one.. what do you think is brewing in this weird ass town?”

When she started speaking about her ass, Delaney cocked her head on one side and made out she was looking at it, the smirk gracing her face was indicating she thought otherwise. It was only a smirk to wind the brunette up though, because inside, Delaney was agitated as hell. “Calm down…your face goes to shit when you get all irritated. Anyway…just get served already–then you can move out of my damn way.”
Brown eyes narrowed at the smirk that the blonde gave her. Letting out a little huff she rolled her eyes. “Yeah.. Yeah..” she breathed out before turning to the chick behind the counter. It didn’t take her long to get out her order before she turned back to the blonde. “I hope you choke on it..” was offered with a bitchy smirk before she pushed past the girl to wait at the other end of the counter.

“Okay one, my ass is far from scrawny.” Rayne resorted with a scoff. “It is a work of luscious perfection.” was added as her arms came to cross over her chest. “Secondly, I’m not about to throw down with you in the middle of a fucking coffee shop. I may think your ass needs a good smack down. But I am far from wasting a good hair and clothes days on you.”

Rayne scrunched her brow a little at his question. She wasn’t really sure what he was referring too. She couldn’t feel any disturbance in the force. But then again she wasn’t always the best at paying attention to the world around her. “I’m going to have to go with a no... unless you’re talking about my insane need for a good burger. Then yes, I feel you.”

Her eyes momentarily looked at the others in case they were about to open their mouths–nobody did. “Fine…whatever…life is peachy.” The blonde inhaled deeply, realising the whole idea of visiting the coffee shop wasn’t a good one.
"You know one day this your bad attitude is going to come back and bit you in your barely there ass.” Rayne narrowed her eyes a bit. “I sure do hope I get to be around to see it. I can already tell its going to be quite the show.”

The hand the was lifting the keys to the lock halting for a moment as she spoke. “I have every intention of taking what I want,” leaning back in to him a breathy sigh slipped from her lips. “I just prefer the comfort of the apartment to the stair well..” She gathered enough of her composure to unlock the door. Turning her head a little she offered him a of smile as she looked over her shoulder. “You’ll just have to be patient lover..” she teased finally pulling away from him as she walked in to the apartment.

Delaney narrowed her eyes at the other female. She really couldn’t cope with waiting at the back of the queue, therefore, she took a step back so she was stood behind her, but in front of most of the others. “Happy now, sweetheart?”
“I’m pretty sure that is not the end of the line. All those good people don’t deserve to be cut in front of just because you’re in a pissy mood.” Rayne tilted her head a bit as she looked at the few people behind them. Some didn’t look like they really gave a shit. Others looked like they were trying to avoid a confrontation. Shaking her head she rolled her eyes. “Fine whatever..”
