“I think I swallowed some soap. Oh my god don’t ever slip in the kitchen near the dispensers.”
Rosé || Roman & Rayne
Perhaps inviting a stranger over to his home was the the best idea, especially considering Antioch seemed to be a hotbed for supernaturals. But Roman was relatively unfazed by the idea. If Rayne wanted more from him than just his company she’d find him very unsatisfying. He had little to fear from vampires or succubi for that reason. Of course that wouldn’t stop anyone from trying to rip him apart either, but it wasn’t like he didn’t have enough tricks up his sleeve to defend himself. Regardless, Rayne didn’t seem the type to look for a fight. Roman considered himself an excellent judge of character. So he opened a bottle of wine and patiently waited for the knock on his door.
“I swear on my life, if you don’t have something really important to say to me right now, then shut your mouth and walk away. I am too stressed for any bullshit right now.”
Edward very rarely did things by halves. Downloading every song Pulp had ever made was just a small example of this. Getting too into it and singing along on what he thought was an empty bus was another. How was he supposed to know that somebody was sat several seats behind him?
“You’re more then welcome to join me,” Rayne set her cup down on the table before looking up at the person. “I mean I hate to eat alone, and it looks like one of the only free spots in this place. Win for everyone..”
