So while doin some thunkin about psi-powers a question of sorts popped into my brain:

Would the different psi-powers operate like the different Avatar elements when theyre being learned?

What I'm refering to is in ATLA, when an Avatar is born in the Earth kindgom- for example- they would have a harder time learning Airbending than they would the other elements. Like the "opposite" element of whatever nation that Avatar is born in would be way more difficult for them to master than the other 2 & their native nations element.

In theory, Would a Psychonaut have a more difficult time gaining control of the "opposite" psi-power, whatever that may be?

Like if someone was a world renowned master of Psi-Blast, would they not be very good at using a defensive power like Shield?

Maybe, but I still see some things wrong with this idea.
