a list of bakudeku headcanons that are living rent free in my head
Bakugou being jealous over anyone who would give Midoriya too much attention isn’t a new idea but, I feel like he’d be the kind of person who would be offended when someone claimed they WEREN’T into him.
“stop flirting with my boyfriend i know you like him”
“oh you’ve got it all wrong i don’t like midoriya that way”
“………… wtf why not what’s wrong with him HAVE YOU SEEN HIM? WHAT ABOUT DEKU ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU”
“I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOUR GOALS”
“STAY AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND”
Midoriya is also confused by these interactions but thinks it’s sweet in Kacchan’s way.
After they start dating, Midoriya’s confidence would boost like x20. Kacchan’s his boyfriend, he feels like he can do anything. Bakugou and everyone else has noticed the change. Bakugou is ofc very into it because confidence looks good on Deku. Also he deserves every ounce of it he can get. When Midoriya tells him the source of this new found confidence, Bakugou calls him a dweeb but he’s melting on the inside.
Midoriya knows this. Kacchan’s blushing when he says it.
Bakugou will go to Midoriya’s room to go to bed. Midoriya stays up later than him and if he’s hanging out with classmates he gives Bakugou his key and promises to meet him there soon. Sometimes Bakugou will not want to go to bed without him and will fall asleep oh Midoriya while he’s still hanging out with everyone.
If Midoriya is in the room when Bakugou goes to bed, he’ll let Bakugou cuddle him while he sleeps and Midoriya will look through his phone or read until he gets tired.
Again this one isn’t new but I just love it. Bakugou is unapologetically soft with Midoriya and doesn’t care who sees. They don’t go too far but they are almost always close or touching at the very least.
Bakugou is a very proud boyfriend.
Iida and Uraraka tease Midoriya because he always has a dreamy look on his face while watching Bakugou in training.
Not only is Midoriya’s love unconditional, but so is his attraction. Bakugou could be making the wildest faces for any reason at all and Midoriya still thinks he’s so cute. And will tell anyone that he thinks so.
He’s gotten a lot of strange looks.
Midoriya is the type to keep asking if what he’s doing is okay or feels good while they’re fooling around. Bakugou will pretend to be annoyed while confirming that yes, he’s still enjoying himself, he really loves it. Deku treats him like he’s something precious and he doesn’t know if he’ll ever get used to it.
Bakugou likes being the little spoon. Deku makes him feel safe.
