He really doesn’t realize his own strength, especially not in dangerous situations. He’s carrying your muse, running from something behind him. Something big. “I promise I’m not kidnapping you! Just trust me!”
Barry had no idea what was going on, just kind of clinging and trying not to be dropped. “I hate to say it, but that’s not reassuring! Like, at all!”
“There’s something I’ve been hiding from you” [razza-barry]
"And...what would that be, man?"
Barry took a deep breath, eyes darting nervously. “You’ve been... so nice to me and you’ve let me stay here for weeks, and I just... I feel so guilty because I haven’t told you. Havve almost found me out a few days ago.” He ran a hand through his hair before reaching for his eyepatch. “...I was coerced by Boredom.” He slowly took off the eyepatch, revealing the soul harvester, his good eye squeezed shut.
Sung blinks, stepping back a tad. "Do you plan on following through with the whole harvesting thing?"
Barry opened his eye, slightly surprised that he hadn’t been stabbed or punched. “God no. Never again.” He put his eyepatch back on, watching Sung’s movements carefully.

Late Night Wanderings Sentence Starters
“What are you doing out this late?”
“This part of town isn’t a good place to be at this time of night.”
“Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?”
“You do realize what time it is, right?”
“Where are you going at this hour?”
“The sun isn’t rising anytime soon, you know.”
“Do you know where I am?”
“The city looks different at night.”
“This street is very dark…”
“Why don’t you come stand in the light?”
“Are you lost?”
“I got turned around in the dark…”
“This isn’t the time to go wandering around.”
“Only fools and trouble come out to these parts at this hour.”
“Looking for trouble, are we?”
“A little late to be shopping.”
“Just coming back from the bar?”
“Think any of the pubs are still going to be open?”
“Trouble lurks around every shadowed corner.”
“Woah! I didn’t see you there!”
“Where did you come from?”
“What are you doing here?”
“A bold move to show your face here in the shadows of night.”
“Go home.”
“It isn’t safe here at this time of night.”
“You’re being watched.”
“What are you doing still up?”
“Looking for something?”
“I like walking when the streets are empty.”
“It’s dangerous to walk at night alone.”
“I know where I’m going.”
“The trees are kind of spooky…”
“Did you hear that howl?”
“Was…was that an owl…?”
“This path is scary at night…”
“The woods is no place a __ after dusk.”
“Oh you poor soul, wandering lost in the forest under the new moon…”
“You can’t see the stars from here…”
“This is the witching hour.”
“Dark beasts lurk here. Be cautious.”
“Stay on the road!”
“Talking a midnight stroll along the beach?”
“The ocean is so mysterious at night…”
“What brings you to the pier at this hour?”
“What dangers lurk in these dark waters, I wonder.”
“You’re going to get yourself lost one of these days.”

Barry nodded and shook his hand. “Thank you, Havve. I… suppose I’ll see you around at some point or another.”
“Likewise,” Havve replied with a nod. After one last look at Barry, he turned and made his way back down the hall.
Barry sighed, turning back around and staring at the mirror, at the eyepatch covering the harvester. “Shit,” he muttered, leaning forward so his forehead was against the mirror. He missed the days when he was normal.
razza-barry:
Barry smiled a little. “Well, it’s my job.” He paused a moment. “But you’re welcome. Sung knows how to contact me if my help is needed after I’m gone.”
“Of course,” Havve replied, “And I’m sure he will.” He extended one of his hands for a shake. “I will leave you to your… quiet time, then.”
Barry nodded and shook his hand. “Thank you, Havve. I... suppose I’ll see you around at some point or another.”
razza-barry:
“Not yet. I won’t have a problem finding one.” He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets. “I’ve been here awhile, I’ve fixed what I was paid for. There’s no need for me to stay around longer than I’m useful for.” Barry was really trying to seem as not shady as possible. It wasn’t like he was planning to hurt anyone, just didn’t want to.
“Fair enough,” Havve said. He seemed to hesitate for just a moment before he added, “Thank you for your work here. You have helped us a lot.”
Barry smiled a little. “Well, it’s my job.” He paused a moment. “But you’re welcome. Sung knows how to contact me if my help is needed after I’m gone.”
razza-barry:
“…thank you Havve.” He held eye contact as long as he could before looking down. He knew he was a potential danger, he had been for… awhile. Fucking Boredom. “I’m not sure if I’ll stick around much longer.”
Havve kept his gaze on Barry all the while, trying to deduce anything else from his body language. It was something he wanted to get better at. “And why is that?” he asked. Admittedly, Barry still was not his favorite person on board, but something seemed… off. “Do you have somewhere else to go?”

razza-barry:
Barry took a deep breath. “Nothing. I was trying to find somewhere quiet, okay? It’s been a long couple of weeks, and I’m not used to being in one place this long. It makes me nervous.” There. That… hopefully sounded reasonable. And it wasn’t a lie, either. The longer he was in one the place, the easier it would be for… him… to find Barry.
Havve tilted his head slightly, thinking that over, processing Barry’s words. “I suppose I can… empathize with that,” he said. It wasn’t a word he used very often, but it seemed right in the moment. “About finding a quiet place, anyway. I have been here for as long as I can remember, but it does get quite loud around here at times.”
He uncrossed his arms. “Just know that you are safe here,” he said. “You do not have to hide. So long as you are not a danger to the ship or the crew, no harm will come to you here.”
“...thank you Havve.” He held eye contact as long as he could before looking down. He knew he was a potential danger, he had been for... awhile. Fucking Boredom. “I’m not sure if I’ll stick around much longer.”
razza-barry:
“I got hurt a few years back. I can’t see right and it makes me dizzy when the eye is uncovered. So I wear the eyepatch.” Barry glanced to his left with his good eye, trying to find an exit. He was very good at running and he just needed an out.
Havve stared him down, eyes flickering. Maybe that was a true story, but he could still see the way Barry was glancing towards the door. Havve was more than accustomed to people being afraid of him, but from the few times they’d spoken, Barry hadn’t seemed as such.
“You appear to be withholding something,” he says. “And we do not take kindly to suspicious activity on our ship. What were you doing in here?”
Barry took a deep breath. “Nothing. I was trying to find somewhere quiet, okay? It’s been a long couple of weeks, and I’m not used to being in one place this long. It makes me nervous.” There. That... hopefully sounded reasonable. And it wasn’t a lie, either. The longer he was in one the place, the easier it would be for... him... to find Barry.
razza-barry:
“Well I wasn’t.” Barry crossed his arms. “I was just… in here. Not doing anything.” He swore his hearts might beat out of his chest, terrified that Havve might have seen. But he wasn’t going to say anything about it, not about to get trapped in a corner of his own doing.
Havve’s eyes flickered. He didn’t claim to the best at reading emotions and body language, but something sure seemed fishy. “Why do you wear that eyepatch, if I may ask?” he questioned, crossing a pair of arms. He’d seem him touching it, he was pretty sure. “I don’t believe you ever said.”

razza-barry:
For some inexplicable reason, Barry was still on the ship of the Starlight Brigade. He’d been doing everything he could to earn his keep, to seem as normal as possible. Of course, he was having trouble gauging what normal even was in this place, but he was pretty sure no one was suspicious. He was just the innocent, kind, niieve mechanic.
Who left the room whenever boredom was brought up.
He found himself alone in a room, clutching a hand over his patched eye. He didn’t know why, but it hurt today. He did a quick sweep of the room before walking over to mirror and hesitantly lifting his eyepatch. Nothing was different, and he was just staring at the harvester where his eye used to be. The reminder of what he’d done. The thing that would force him to carry guilt with him for the rest of his life.
He jolted at a sound behind him, fumbling to pull the eyepatch down, spinning to face whoever it was. “I wasn’t doing anything!”
When things got too loud, Havve quite often found himself wandering around the ship to find somewhere quiet. The room he often settled in seemed to be occupied at the moment, however, by the human-looking man who had been staying aboard their ship. They’d only spoken a few times, but Havve still wasn’t entirely okay with this whole ‘other mechanic’ deal.
“Well, it looked an awful lot like you were doing something,” he said, his gaze darting around the room. He had to be at the ready in case Barry decided to sabotage something on their ship, as Havve had a tendency to suspect of most unfamiliar passengers.
“Well I wasn’t.” Barry crossed his arms. “I was just... in here. Not doing anything.” He swore his hearts might beat out of his chest, terrified that Havve might have seen. But he wasn’t going to say anything about it, not about to get trapped in a corner of his own doing.
