I think the knight isn’t Dess. GUYS WAIT. WAIT. Dont pummel me with rocks yet pls i can explain. I don’t think Carol is specifically the knight but she’s the one pulling the strings for it. I think the knight actually consists of multiple people pretending to be one person, and the black knife turns into really powerful magic armor in the dark world to whoevers using it. Thats why Alvin was seemingly mia in the darkworld because he was the one using the black knife in that chapter, yes ik i dont have that much proof but why would the knight be able to make a darkner of gerson if that requires being close to that person beforehand, hm? I also think along with the knight there is an unseen subordinate helping them right outside the darkworlds and they might be Asgore, we’ve been wondering how Undyne could be so easily be pulled away at the end of chapter 3 without her putting up a fight. What if it was Asgore? In undertale she says he helped train her if i remember correctly. and that makes me think asgore is like, one of the only people who could be more powerful than Undyne other than Carol or Gerson or something. Also Asgore might be the person hiding in the closet(?) it describes it being able to “hide a large person inside?” But im not as confident in that. I probably sound all over the place rn but i just needed to get this off my chest before chapter 5 ok thats all bye.
