IT'S ALMOST IMPRESSIVE how Michael has managed to avoid the night's chaos, though makes sense given that he has spent most of his time in the lower levels of the Pizzaplex. The remains of the burned restaurant are where he stirred, after all, inexplicably returned to a body that should have been beyond destroyed by now, left roaming in shadows again ( the way he always would ).

Michael has no choice left but to hunt down what dragged his soul back— and upon finding out what was built above where it was all supposed to end... he gets the feeling he knows why.

He's unsure how long he has been down here ( the days aren't worth counting anymore ), trips up and down allowing him to investigate and even update his security uniform— he needs to forge another identity, get another damn job here if he wants to figure anything out.

But, for now, Michael does fine enough in the darkness.

Exiting the sinkhole once more into Roxy Raceway, the energy of the main levels of the Pizzaplex feels... different. His sense of time is warped, but the emptiness makes it clear enough that it's the dead of night. And yet... the mall feels alive with activity.

Just another thing to look into, Michael slips his way behind a few structures, hoping to bypass cameras of all things ( what he thinks is the only threat right now ), when the animatronic voice lunging towards him ECHOES through the raceway.

Michael is no longer easily startled, but he still takes a few sudden steps back, whipping the flashlight directly towards her: Roxanne Wolf, from the information he's gathered about this place ( why the hell is she active? ).

"Uh—" Great start, Michael. "Mike, one of the night guards. It's... my first night on the job." He does know these versions are much more advanced, and hopes the uniform is enough to hold up his obvious lie ( though, he hasn't exactly had many means of disguising... himself while roaming around the basement ). "Shouldn't you be in your room?— Who are you looking for?"

there's a poignant pause after the man, "mike", is done talking. the wolf still laid out in an all four pounce, lightly bobbing and snarling like she's breathing heavily as her eyes bore into him. and then, she rises up, standing tall but still holding her claws out.

her yellow eyes glow, and they dart to mike's head. a laser projection, thin as a sheet of paper, shoots out in front of her. slowly, her eyes guide it down the "guard"'s form.

SCANNING..... SCANNING.....

NO DNA RECORD.

NO "MIKES" OR "MICHAELS" FOUND IN SECURITY DATABASE. NO "MIKES" ON ACTIVE DUTY.

ha, she knew--

NO VITAL SIGNS FOUND. ANIMATRONIC WIRING AND METAL DETECTED.

...what? the tense stance gave way to a small step backward in shock, eyelids rising up ever so slightly. shaking her head, dirtied hair swaying and sending muck flying as she prepared another scan, clearly something had gone wrong with the last....

and yet, it said the same. and for a few seconds, all she can do is stare and squint.

" 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂? "

she... swore? she wasn't aware her censors had been turned off tonight. no, focus.

where was she? she couldn't tell anymore. all she could tell was that there was heat EVERYWHERE. no matter where she ran, how many walls she bumped into, there was no escaping the flames. yells and yips with each time the fire came too close, areas of her body scorched and melted.

this was a nightmare, it had to be, but the "pain" of the go-kart colliding with her, the fear that struck her each time she felt parts of her outer shell melt away from heat exposure... how did this happen? why did this happen? why her?? this wasn't FAIR!

an animalistic snarl shreds its way from her voice box as she swipes at the air in a brief mindless rage, hoping that something, ANYTHING would be there to take her anger out... but alas, she only felt air. was this it? was this all that there was left for her?? if the pizza plex was burning down ( the fire felt like it surrounded her, waiting to pounce and consume her like a predator ), they would save her, right? this... this couldn't....... she didn't want to die............ not all alone like this... anything but this...

the snarls give way to sobs, the once-mighty wolf collapsing to her knees and placing her hands in the large gap in her face, desperately feeling for her eyes. as if they would magically appear again, and she would be able to see a way out.

my favorite thing about the FNAF fandom, 100%, has to be all the fangames. there's not as many as there used to be, but i'm so heavily nostalgic to the sea of ones that came out ages ago when the first few games were coming out. treasure island, joy of creation, candy's... and of course, there are some of the newer ones like nightstars and playtime at percy's! i've wanted to make my own for awhile, but, ultimately i don't think i could really do game development.

11. Are there some things you dislike about how the show/series/etc. portray the character you have picked up? If so, what?

hmmm... honestly, that's a tough question since i actually really love roxy's canon characterization a fair bit but. if i had to say something, it seems like she doesn't really gel well with her bandmates as much as i'd like? i know she's a somewhat egotistical self-loving gal but, idk, i just think it'd be interesting to have more nuanced dynamics between them all. (that, and i ship glam.chica with her but like. that's another thing.)

21. Which song do you feel describes your character the most and why?

i can't really describe it as "describes your character the most" when it's more so i feel "it's her Vibe" but, whenever i think of roxanne and sometimes when i'm writing her...

it would have to be Partners In Crime by Set It Off. (TW guns, police, death for the music video!)

good morning everyone! i've gone ahead and updated my rules tab on the carrd again, just adding a few things i'd forgotten to before as well as reformatting and clarifying some existing ones. there's also a few small changes to the about and verses pages, but mainly the rules. if you have the time, please take a look!

today, i will most likely be on and off again in terms of activity or checking on the dash. i'm still a tad overwhelmed from being back on this site, and it's taking a small toll on me, so i'm giving myself some time to readjust slightly before i get into the last few starters and replies i owe, sorry for taking so long on some of them!

There's several agonizing moments of Freddy staring where the other's voice came from, blinking when the other spoke. 'Big changes'? Was what was happening big? The bear hadn't actually given much thought to the gravity of the change, so calling it such did make him have to consider. She was still Freddy, she thought, even if she's unsure of the exact nature of 'Freddy' at the moment.

Though that can assuredly wait until later, he though, considering the 'we' that was said. Was something similar happening with her friend and here she was focusing on herself? Ears lower for a moment, attention firmly on the other. Optics taking in the unfamiliar colors as she finally processes the different voice speaking to her not being the scratch gruff one of the pirate captain-- OH!

"Oh, goodness! I'm terribly sorry. I-- well-- I had thought you were just out for some routine maintenance! I was not aware there was, ah, 'rebranding'." That was a good word for it, wasn't it? Especially since she wasn't sure-- OH STARS!

"OH I AM SO DREADFULLY SORRY!" It came out louder than he'd intended, realizing the faux pas that must've occurred when he walked in assuming who the other was. "I-- you-- well." A brief pause, bringing all that calm back to himself with an unneeded sigh.

"Right, sorry. I didn't know. Let's try this again." A few brief steps closer, crouching just enough to hold hand out for the other to take. "It's nice to meet you again."

he's.... apologizing? well, she means... it feels nice to hear and yet, it confuses her all the same. ear flicks, head perking up a little more and leaning slightly to the side... and then flinching as freddy all but shouts her(?) apology once more, banging the side of the table in reaction.

recoiling ever slightly into the darkness below... and then, she hears steps approaching, and recoils just a little more.... and then sees a hand peeking out from the other side, and her friend's words come through clearly again.

for a moment, she just sits there. staring, unmoving. should she...? it's now or never.

a hand reaches out from under the table, grey with sharp green nails. as it gets close, it stops and retreats for a brief moment... then lets itself fall into the bear's palm, gripping. a feminine grunt as she pulls herself out from under the table. long, silver hair flows out as her head comes out, a single green streak covering her face.

she shimmies herself up from paws of purple claws. purple warmers align her arms and legs, red shoulder pads similar to freddy's own but smaller in size appearing from the shadow as she puts her other hand into freddy's to hoist herself up. and it's not long after that yellow eyes peer up at the bear. even if she's not as short now as she used to be, she's still not as tall as the leader either. and in that moment, he gets to watch as a frown on her face changes to a smile.

" 𝘐𝘵'𝘴… 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰. "

she releases her hands from hers.
