’ Me? Enjoying the missery of my team mates who don’t take Quidditch seriously?’ Emma faked-gasped, her eyes widening in almost shock as she shook her head, but grinned. ‘ Never. Just on my free days. Today it ain’t one.’
“Hey, I told you I take it seriously,” he pointed to her with raised eyebrows, “But I do also take my O.W.Ls serious,” he admitted, shrugging. “Do you have any free days at all?”

Peter frowned at him and sighed. “Look, I, I’m just wanting that book is all, okay?”
“What would you do to get it?”

That’s when Emma threw the other a grin- the utter annoyance she felt earlier forgotten as she took the lead again; her shoulders giving him a small shrug. ‘ It was snowing really hard the last time I was outside.’ her grin widened.’ Fun!’
Regulus’ smiled faded a bit when she said it was snowing hard; he really, really did not like snow. Or the cold. And it had definitely nothing to with being buried one time too many in the snow as a child. “You’re really enjoying this, aren’t you?” he sighed, shaking his head.

‘ I wouldn’t rather have someone than you. But, if you won’t give me another chance, I’ll have someone else. You’re gonna find out if it happenes.’ She threw him another deadly glance and placed her hands on his shoulders, forcing him to turn around and walk normally.
“I think you’re probably on your seventh chance, to be honest. But fine, since you’re begging, I’ll forgive you,” Regulus shrugged and spun around as she turned him, the entrance hall closing in on them. “At least tell me it’s not raining or snowing right now.”

Emma threw him a deadly glance. Was he implying he was the only Slytherin Seeker in the castle? ‘ Hey- there were five other candidates for the spot and some were really good- so don’t let it get to your head.’ She quickly informed the other. Emma had to take a big breath of air not to make a scene in the library as she followed the other outside of the library. When they were out, she gave him another deadly glance but didn’t comment.
“You mean to say you’d rather have someone other than me? Who?” he challenged, feigning hurt. He enjoyed teasing her about Quidditch, as he knew how much it meant to her, and it was just really fun to see her try to refrain herself from lashing out and going on one of her famous ‘Quidditch-rants’.

‘ forgot.’ she echoed his words…’ maybe i’ll forget to put you on the field on the day of the game as well.’she threw him a small, irritated smile as she straigthened herself. she needed dedication. she wanted someone who really put their heart into this. ‘ of course i do, are you going to seat around here or are you gonna help me put it in action, little black? we don’t have the entire days of practice, you know that.’
“I said sorry?” he replied sheepishly, “If you want to risk losing, sure, forget to put me on the field,” he said, throwing the bag over his shoulder and walking towards her. “I’m really sorry, okay?” he said again, “I promise I won’t make a habit of forgetting, you know I’m dedicated to this. I want to win the cup just as badly as you do, and since we don’t have all day, we should probably get going now,” he said, turning around and walking backwards with a grin while looking at her.

“Um…you could, like…probably bet that I would not still be talking to you if I didn’t really need it.”
“Maybe you should tell my brother I’m being mean to you and you could both stand there looking completely dumbfounded.”

Peter frowned slightly and looked all along the table.·“Erm…yes?” he said and bit his lip.·“Unless those are…facades…?”
Regulus rolled his eyes at the Gryffindor before sitting up more straight and crossing his arms over his chest. “How badly do you need it?”

When Sirius agreed to get a book form the library for their transfiguration homework he thought he’d be able to get the book, turn around and head straight back to the Gryffindor common room. Seeing his brother in the library instead of the book was not a part of his plan. When he walked past Regulus for the third time he simply stopped and stared at him. “Oh, not really. Unless you can tell me where ‘Disguise yourself with transfiguration’ is.”
Regulus had been going out of his was this past semester to avoid his brother, and he’d done a pretty good job of it, as well. He thought maybe Sirius would do the same, but after seeing him walk past him again, and again, and again, before actually stopping, he felt himself growing angry. What right did he have to talk to him? “What, you mean this one?” he asked, holding up the book Sirius requested. “Sorry, haven’t seen it,” he muttered, looking back into his books.

emma looked at him and waited, there were ten more minutes until the quidditch practice but the other seemed to not have that in mind; she leaned casually on one of the chairs and shrugged her shoulder. ‘ i don’t know, i want to win the quidditch cup this year. do you think you can help me out with that? you seem pretty clueless to me.’
Regulus looked at Emma for a few seconds before it dawned on him. “Ahh, first practice. Yeah, I forgot,” he stood up and started to gather the books in a mild hurry, putting the books carefully into his bag. “I’m ready, I’ve got my Quidditch gear with me,” he said, giving her half-smile as reassurance. "You got a plan to win, then?"

Peter’s cheeks heated up once he realized was behind the book stack. “Ah,” he stammered and looked around them. “I…I needed…you’ve got a book that I w-wanted,” he said, pointing to the book in the middle of the stack. “But, um, er, never mind…”
“I don’t have any books, Pettigrew” he replied, resting his chin on his hand and staring at him with a bored expression. “Do you see any books?”
-- ; Regulus was sitting in the corner of the library, nose deep in four books. It was only the very start of the second semester, but he knew if he wanted to keep up his outstanding-only record of grades when the O.W.Ls started he had to start as early as possible. But he’d been buried in these books for more than three hours now without a break and he was getting tired. He sighed and rubbed his eyes, but stopped when he felt someone standing there, watching him. “Can I help you?”
