alrighty, guys ! so, basically, the comics give us really ... nothing about richard. okay, there’s a little about how he died and him becoming a cia agent and everything, but i basically have a lot of wiggle room to work with, so ... i’m just making stuff up as i go ? but i think peter definitely gets a lot of stuff from richard, you know ? that desire to be a hero ? to do good ? richie has that. it’s a parker trait. he wants to go into the military ;; he wants to do good. also, that Parker Luck™, good grief. richard has that in spades.
anyways, here we go !
richard is crazy smart. he’s especially talented in math and the sciences, and has memorized the first thirty or so digits of pi. it’s almost obnoxious how smart this kid is.
he has a very sharp tongue and is amazing at comebacks. this will serve him well when he becomes a cia agent, of course, but doesn’t exactly help with high school bullies. he’s stuffed into a lot of lockers because he just doesn’t shut up. probably where peter gets his quippiness from too.
he has a heart of gold !!! my soft boi !!! richard’s the kind of boy who will save a kitten from a tree and help old ladies cross the street, and he’s never one to complain.
he’s stubborn as hell. if richie has his mind set on doing something, you bet your ass he’s going to go and do it. nothing will stop him -- not even his brother, ben.
he’s set on going into the military after graduating which is scary because ... richie isn’t ready for war, oh my god. but he wants to do good for his country ! he wants to serve ! he wants to have purpose !
family means a lot to richie, so now that their parents are gone, richie tends to lean on ben a lot.
he’s such a people pleaser, it physically hurts me.
