“I’m a daycare teacher right now! Part-time, obviously because of school. I’m still undeclared right now, actually. Still figuring it out. I know-I’m sorry I’ve been distant. Between work, school and everything else it’s been rough.” She replies running her hand through her hair. “Is that what it’s like being the star of the town? How’s that going anyway?”
“what a perfect job for you. you’ve always been great with kids... and it’s okay, it’s not like i’ve been super easy to reach,” romeo said, sharing the blame for their losing touch. “that’s what it’s like. it’s... something. you know i would give it all up if i could.” claire had always known that romeo didn’t like the fame. he liked acting and he liked the money, but he didn’t like the attention and the fame that came with it.
