hi im jumping on the bandwagon

         pros: will dote on you like you are the reason he draws breath, will give you all sorts of gifts, will pay for everything ( perks of dating a prince, my guys ), is shy & cute about kissing n holding hands n all sorts of romantic things

          cons: will dote on you like you are the reason he draws breath ( can be overbearing ), over-apologetic if he does something wrong/makes his partner upset, is bad at communication

     faustus & self-esteem

         no doubt faustus was showered with love and praise as a child, what with camilla as his mother, but maybe that actually contributes to his low self-esteem. after all, is he really worth all his mother says he is if she dumps him into an alternate dimension, and only can visit every few months at the soonest ? deep within him, faustus knows his mother’s love is true, and he loves her in return with all his heart, but he can’t help but ponder on his darker days

         faustus has been well-aware of his royal status from day one, and, because of it, projected unrealistic expectations upon himself. he sees how strong and admirable his mother and her siblings are, and strives to one day live up to them. he doesn’t really see himself ever making it to that point, however. the pedestal upon which he has placed his aunt and uncles ( and even his cousins ) makes their statuses unattainable. he will never see himself as good enough

        he really tries his best to seem his best, though. though he will never inherit the crown, he tries to act just as respectable as if he will.

“Big brother!”

Lukas made his way over to his liege, hugging Beri close to his chest. The small male tightened his grip on the plush toy before holding him up. His voice changed, though it was still quite obvious it was him. He hadn’t quite mastered such talents yet. He moved the bear in tune with his words.

“Hello there, m’lord!”

He hugged the bear to his chest once he had finished speaking, a giggle escaping the small boy. The butler rocked on his heels excitedly, squeezing the stuffed animal in his arms. Dark green eyes stared up at the prince happily. As though he hadn’t seen him in forever, though he’d seen him just a few moments prior.

          “ Ah, hello, Lukas, ”

     Faustus bent to smile at the boy, still apprehensive about him and his position. What with the positions of their mothers, Lukas was by all rights Faustus’ retainer, but something about that didn’t sit quite right. A little boy, protecting a young man in his late teens ?

         ‘ Big brother ’ was so endearing, and Faustus felt it suited him far better than ‘ milord ’ when being addressed by the child.

     But what could he do about their roles in each others’ lives ? All there was was to play the part of that elder brother; a part he admittedly didn’t mind playing.

         “ And hello, Beri, ” best to not forget to respond to the stuffed toy’s greeting, he reminded himself, “ What is it you need ? ”

     tbh ive been thinking about changing fcs for faustus....his current fc i chose bc he was the closest to the design i had already come up with for him, but there isnt much art, and ywpd’s anime/manga style is.........not the best (im sorry pedal ilu)

         so i was wondering if anyone knows of a character that would also fit ? nothing really matters to me other than his basic hairstyle (shoulder-length and somewhat curly), so hair color, or gender of the character even doesnt matter too much;; ill continue poking around, but any ideas or help would be appreciated;;;;??

     He looked briefly down at his ( rather revealing ) clothes, and looked back up at Chiyo with a nod.

         “ Yes, I am. A dark mage, to be precise, ” his emphasis on ‘ dark ’ was an acknowledgement of the fact that their classes apparently shared the term, “ Though, of course, I can cast spells outside of dark magic, as well. ”
